This car changed the image of Hyundai
Source: Cars.com

..."When one of my friends bought a sonata, I was surprised by his decision and later surprised again because of its quality and performance--actually this gaves me motivation to test drive azera.
I owned a mini cooper s but needed a large sedan for my new baby.
Thus, I would purchase a sonata so visit a hyundai dealer.
The dealer recommended azera and I test drove it for a week.
In the week I also visit an acura dealer and an audi dealer and tested rl, a4 and tsx.
However, I finally purchased an azera. If test drive it,then, hard to turn over the other vehicles. Now, I...

Best value for money I've ever spent on a new car.
Source: Cars.com

..."I have over 26K on my 2006 Azera purchased in May 2006.
Mileage advertised as 19 City /28 Hwy. I get over 21mpg on my morning commute of 25 miles that takes nearly an hour.
Twice I got over 32mpg and never under 26mpg on long distance travel at interstate speeds.
The aftermarket Garmin Nuvi 360 is less than 25% the price of the indash GPS offered by Toyota.
I'd like to see an option for automatic door locks and more radio controls on the steering wheel.
Those are the reasons I only gave it 4 stars on features. Even with those few flaws, in my opinion, this car is a...

Awesome car
Source: MSN Autos

...Very comfortable and has great acceleration. The interior is very nice with woodgrain accents and I chose the black leather seats which are very good looking. The navigation system is nice and easy to use, it is similar to the one's in GM models such as the Yukon and Suburban. Car has a very comfortable ride and comes with numerous features such as rain sensing wipers, integrated turn signals in the side mirrors, stability control, heated front seats, electronic sun shield for the back window and numerous other little gadgets. Cons: Had a problem with a rattle in the dash. The dealership was...

great buy for the money
Source: Cars.com

..."i have owned three other hyundai's between my girlfriend and i.
this by far is the most comfortable and easiest to drive of them all.
i get respectable gas mileage (no where near the elantra or sonata).
depending upon the highway, i can get up to 33 miles per gallon according to the on board computer.
i like the fact that i don't need premium fuel in a luxory car.
the azera is laid out very well. the controls are very accessible. numerous safety features. people often think i have a lexus. i throughly enjoy my azera."...

Harder Ride
Source: Cars.com

..."No review of the 2007 Azera ever commented negatively about how the Azera rides.
I think it rides very very hard. I'm not used to "swaying" as my car drives over pumpy city streets.
I took 3 lbs of air out of the tires and it made little difference.
My old 1994 Roadmaster was a dream to ride in. It weighed about 310 lbs. more than my Azera. Maybe that makes a remarkable difference, but I doubt it...

Sport Car Excitement
Source: Cars.com

..."Luxury car that makes you want to drive like its a sport sedan.
This car really moves , the acceleration is equal to the Maxima.
Excellent all around view. The leather seats are terrific.
Manuvering this car in city traffic is a joy, quick response to handling and braking.
The power folding side mirrors with turn signals should be standard on the Azera. Great safety feature and really make the car stands out."...

best for the buck
Source: MSN Autos

...Pros: It handles very well and still has a very nice ride.
It looks and feels like more expensive car. It has standard safety features others other cars don't.
Lots of bells & whistles standard. Cons: The speedometer reads to 160 mph, so it's harder to see if it is going 35 or 45 in slower speed zones.
large ditgital read out would be better. The seat and mirrors will reset for 2 different drivers,
but you have to turn the key on first to get it to change which is hard to do if you are bigger than the other driver. Overall: So far it is the best car we have ever owed. We...

Lookout Toyota and Honda
Source: MSN Autos

...Having said that the car is what it is. It’s not a sport sedan, it’s a big “luxury” car and tuned for that demographic market... perhaps TOO much tuned, think a 75 Buick Roadmaster. Overall: The big plus for me is the 3.8L V6 engine. It is the first Asian/American/Japanese V6 I have ever driven that rivals the German 6 cylinders. The responsiveness is outstanding. You don’t need to floor it and spin up the motor to get useful passing acceleration. Gas mileage is what I expected for a full size car and no better than the Lexus. At the end of the day, you can’t beat this car at its...

Great Value and Dependability
Source: MSN Autos

...Pros: Good value for a low price. It has plenty of accessories and extras.
Good power. Cons: Would like to see better gas milage, although current 18 to 19 MPG is quite acceptable in city and commuting driving.
Overall: Outstanding value for the price and a good looking car, better than the Camery, Avalon, Accord...

Why should I also consider these?

This class of front-drive, full-size sedans puts all its chips on great interior room and strong V-6 power, not to mention safety.

The Ford Taurus and Mercury Sable are essentially the same car with different looks; both sport V-6 power nearly equal to that in the Azera, plus available all-wheel drive.

The Buick LaCrosse is powered by a V-6 and has a little less room than the other cars here, but its smooth powertrain and improved styling make it worth considering.

The Chevrolet Impala leads sales, and its roomy backseat and big V-6 give it competitive performance, while the Toyota Avalon has an enviable reputation for quality behind it.

2009 Chevrolet Impala
If you’re in the market for a comfortable sedan with lots of space at a reasonable price, the 2009 Chevrolet Impala is a practical but not exciting choice.

2008 Ford Taurus
A great choice for older drivers, the 2008 Ford Taurus excels on its size, safety gear, and large instrumentation, but falls behind the Honda Accord in driving excitement.

2008 Mercury Sable
The 2008 Mercury Sable has great interior room and trunk space, comprehensive safety gear, and large instrumentation, but falls behind the Honda Accord in driving excitement.

2008 Toyota Avalon
The 2008 Toyota Avalon is designed for a cushy, comfortable ride and impressive interior space above all else.
