The Ultimate Off and On Road Vehicle
Source: MSN Autos

...We live in Tucson, AZ and love to go rock hounding so we have driven our H3 up some of the smaller mountains following the power lines. What a ride! Cons: My husband and I love everything about this vehicle. We really cannot find anything to dislike. What we do dislike has nothing to do with our vehicle. It has to do with all the people that think Hummers should be taken off the market. My only thought would be is they are jealous. Why such a stink about Hummers. There are other vehicles that burn equally as much gas - what about the Cadillac Escalade, the Land Rover, the F250 pickups, etc...

Hummer a slummer
Source: MSN Autos

...Pros: It says "its a Hummer" Cons: Piggish - poor milage - fit and finish - high cost repair a "GMC" with Hummer branded parts.
Lets face it, its an over priced, gimmicky GMC truck.
I'm sorry fans but I couldn't spend my money on that.
Look at a Jeep if you want a stylish thorough and capablr SUV. Overall: Its a basic GMC truck with as many catalog add ons that can be bolted on, including the body itself...

Best SUV I Ever Owned
Source: Cars.com

..."Not a single SUV out there comes close. After owning an Wrangler, an Expedition and an Explorer, I broke last year's trend and bought the H3 Alpha.
Believe me when I say no other SUV compares to the H3."...

Loved my H3!
Source: Cars.com

..."I own a yellow 2006 H3 and I love it. I have had so many compliments on how it looks as well as how it rides.
I was amazed by the smooth ride, it doesn't ride like a truck or as expected.
It is great for long trips. I have the luxury package with heated leather.
The seats are very comfortable and they heat up very fast.
In the cold winter the heat gets warm faster then any other vehicle I have been in. I would recomend the H3 to anyone looking for a reliable, fun, and comfortable ride!"...

Humming with the Hummer
Source: MSN Autos

...Pros: I like how it looks and how it turns heads. It turns on a dime and people really respect your vehicle.
You have anyone cutting in front of you or trying to tailgate you.
Cons: Interior room. I wish it had more room and more compartments to store things.
I wish that it had radio controls on the steering wheel.
Overall: I like the Hummer 3. I liked it so much that i traded my 2006 model for 2009 and there were some improvements made. But i would like it to go further...

HUMMER, put IT on your list.
Source: MSN Autos

...Gas mileage is in line with other four wheel drive SUVs in its class. Warranty is by far the best on the road. 4YR/50K miles bumper-bumper and 5YR/100K miles on powertrain. Cons: The misconception of it being a gas-guzzler. Most people, i.e. tree-huggers, don't know that it has the same or less of a carbon footprint of many "Hybrids". Overall: I am in a business that has given me the fortune, and misfortune, of driving just about everything ever made and you're running a red light if you are looking at 4WD SUV's and do not look at an H3. Price, Safety, Capability, and Warranty. AWESOME...

Why should I also consider these?

The 2009 HUMMER H3T is classified as a mid-size pickup truck, so its competition is well-defined on paper.

However, as similar as these trucks look on a specification sheet, in person, the H3T's styling makes its competitors look like girlie-man trucks.

The Dodge Dakota is significantly improved in 2008 and offers two cab/bed configurations and two engine choices, including a powerful 4.7-liter V-8 matched to a five-speed automatic.

The Dakota is a solid choice, but lacks the HUMMER's styling and ultimate off-road capabilities.

Built at the same plant as the HUMMER H3T are GM's mid-size twins, and one could also cross-shop the Chevy Colorado and GMC Canyon.

A V-8 option is now available on these trucks, so no longer are these entries the 98-pound weaklings of the mid-size truck segment.

Then there are the imports: the six-cylinder Tacoma, Frontier, and Ridgeline.

The Toyota and Nissan (like the Dodge and Chevy/GMC) nameplates offer more variety than the HUMMER, including two-wheel-drive variations that offer real benefits every time the fuel tank needs to be filled.
