Deeply disappointed
Source: MSN Autos

...nobody knows to this day what the problem is, somtimes when I first start it up and drive it makes this noise like a vacumn and it moves really slow I have to keep pushing the gas to get it to stop doing this, it goes away after a few seconds but again no-one knows why!!!! Overall: I am deeply disappointed in my Passport, this is my fisrt SUV and I should've done my homework but I have prev owned a Honda and I knew of their good reputation with making solid, lasting vehicles. I am doubtful abt getting anothor SUV. I think that Honda should be made to replace our Passport with the new...

Move over Audi, BMW, etc.
Source: MSN Autos

...Pros: We recently owned a Honda Passport and were very happy with that vehicle, however, it only got 18mpg on the highway.
We now own a Honda Accord EXL and get 24-25 in town.
When we take a trip, I am sure we will be pleased with that mileage also.
Cons: Nothing at this time. Overall: The Honda Accord EX-L has alot of standard features which could be options on other makes of automobiles.
The 4 cyl has an increase in horsepower. The leather seats are designed for the best ride in its class.
We also enjoy the head room, leg room, the XM Radio, the climate control and...

would buy another one tomorrow
Source: MSN Autos

...Cons: needs more head room Overall: We have had no problems at all.
Bought truck brand new at end of year sale for $8000 off of sticker price.
Even though it is a Isuzi with honda badging I got it for 6K less than a comparable Isuzu.
So what if I didn't get a 10 year warranty. Most warranties are full of holes anyway.
I can do alot of work for 6K and if I have to use the warranty much I would sell the vehicle.Who wants a ten year/100k if your vehicle sits in a repair shop...

Very Disappointed
Source: MSN Autos

...Pros: It is a nice looking vehicle. Cons: Various problems with this vehicle so far.
It has been in for service more than i've driven the vehicle.
They can't seem to identify the problems so they keep replacing parts that aren't fixing the problems??? This brand new vehicle needed the ABS control unit replaced,
the right rear axle replaced, brake pads replaced and needs a cv joint that's on back order.
There is a major brake problem that they will not address. Overall: i would have bought a used car if i wanted so many problems!...

I will never buy anything but a Honda.
Source: Cars.com

..."I bought my 2002 Accord coupe new and have since put over 239,000+ miles on it and have not had one single problem with the car.
It still drives like it did when new. The 4cyl along with the 5speed gives me 36 mpg still!
I would never buy anything else but a honda. I would recommend the 98-02 Accord to anyone, but only the 5speed 4cyl as the V6 automatic's have had a poor reliability record for transmission problems.
I also have a 1999 Honda passport with 183,000 trouble free miles."...

A Fun Drive for an SUV
Source: MSN Autos

...Pros: Feels great to drive, this SUV is as good if not better than some of the higher priced models out there.
The leather interior package is comfortable, driving is fun Cons: Just a bit boxy and top heavy but no worse than other SUVs.
The rear door could be designed a little better. Overall: I am having fun driving it...

DO NOT BUY THE PASSPORT
Source: MSN Autos

...For the past 4 weeks, it has been in service due to ABS braking going out. This vehicle is very top heavy and therefore will easily loose control without ABS. Due to shortage of parts, the car has not been repaired at this time and a chance it will be another month before I get my car back. Overall: Suggest do not even think about this vehicle. I have owned several SUV's and owned serveral accords and a prelude and loved the Honda product. My expectations were the same for the Passport and it turned out to be a real dissappointment. I strongly suggest NOT buying the Honda Passport...

Junk disguised as a Quality
Source: MSN Autos

...Pros: I liked the Passport because I thought it was going to be a Honda, but it was not.
It drove good for a while, but not for long. Cons: This SUV started having problems that no one could identify.
I thought I bought a Honda product, but when I took it back for repair, the mechanic said it wasn't even a Honda and they considered it junk.
It's funny no one bothered to tell me that when I was spending $28,000 of my money on it.
Honda needs to build a better SUV or stay out of the SUV business.
The Pilot doesn't drive or feel much better than the Passport did. Go with...
