Love the van, can't afford the mpgSource: MSN Autos...Our kids love riding in this vehicle. Cons: GAS MILEAGE! Our Odyssey has the option that shuts off 3 cylinders when they are not needed, so we had no doubt that this model would get better fuel mileage than our 2000 model. Wrong. We are gentle drivers- no fast starts or hard braking and we are getting 13-14 mpg in-town driving. At it's worst, our 2000 got 16-17 in town, which was hard to take after owning an Accord for so long. After only 5 months we are trading this Odyssey off for an '07 Accord and will rent a van for family trips. Overall: I am deeply committed to driving Honda's and have... |

Good van, good price, And for the nose mines it's good enough !Source: MSN Autos...Go try a Toyota, you will see the big differance. But Honda has it's place in the American market , along with KIA and the other low price inports. Dont be offened if someone who realy know cars gives this van a big thumbs down, It's just the plain truth. Cons: It is "pricewise" right inline with the low price Korean inports but people think it's a Honda from Japan but really it's made in good old Alabama USA. Good van for the family on a buget. Overall: Good van for the price minded van buyer. Has most of what the socker mom's needs but really it's a boxy van with the styling of a hat box... |

A Perfect 10Source: MSN Autos...Cons: Even though everything is within the reach of the driver, there are A LOT of buttons -- all black, and all about the same shape and size. There will definitely be an adjustment period while I get used to locating these things while driving. But my husband loves the buttons -- the more the better. And I agree with another reviewer -- let us have the DVD option without the Nav!!! Overall: LOVE IT, LOVE IT, LOVE IT. I cannot tell you how opposed I was to the idea of a 'minivan'. But space was a must for our new purchase, so I gave in and test drove the 2005 Odyssey. Superior; I look... |

I love this van. (Bo't in '00, NOT just last year!)Source: MSN Autos...Cons: There are two things I would change about the Odyssey. I would make the seats longer from front to back. I have had several other vans which I didn't like nearly as much, but which had seats that were more comfortable underneath my upper legs. I feel like these seats were designed for smaller-than-average people! Second, the defrost mechanism has never been as good as I would like. It works, but not the best. You get a car full of people all breathing hot air when the temperature outside is 10 below, and it gets difficult to keep the front and front/side windows clear! There isn't a... |

For those who don't need a full-length, long-wheelbase van, the short-wheelbase (SWB) version of the Kia Sedona is a good option; it has a lower price than the rest of the crowd, though it lacks an easy-folding third row.
For seating alone, the Chrysler Town & Country and Dodge Caravan remain the best options in this class; their in-floor storage and overall cabin utility is still a step above all the leading rivals.
The Toyota Sienna is an excellent van as well, but its on-the-road feel is neither as smooth and well-balanced nor as enthusiastic as the Honda's.
Finally, GM and Ford have given up on minivans, instead offering roomy crossover vehicles with hinged rear doors.
Most will find those rear doors less practical but the vehicles themselves more aesthetically appealing.
The new Ford Flex has fashionable boxy wagon styling and a great seven-passenger interior, while the Chevy Traverse offers more conventional styling paired with an especially good ride and interior appointments.
