I am happy with my van....but my husband is not as happy.
Source: MSN Autos

...I work p/t & have kids in various activities and am constantly running locally. There is a lot of road/air noise on highway. Sometimes it is difficult to clearly hear and/or talk to someone in the rear.My husband is very particular about rattles and noise and he is bothered(not mechanical). If you are keep that in mind. He thinks it will eventually be a "rattle trap".If it were his car and not mine there would probably be issues. The material used on the doors seems very brittle and sensitive to scratches and dings, particularly from seat belts retracting. The area around the seatbelt seems...

Smooth as a cat.

...The storage in the floor is so big that you can fit a small toddler in there. No, worries they will never know it's there because it concealed. I love that the carpets in the entire van are connected. It does wonderful on gas and drives like a cat. It's so smooth. All of the seats recline and the driver and passenger seats are heated. I love it. There are built in shades for the back seats that can but put down until needed. The temperature adjustment is also very detailed as it allows you to chose the exact temperature you want instead of a little red line/lines...

Excellent van, just noses out the Sienna
Source: MSN Autos

...Cons: Nav system is easy enough to use, but its algorithms are sometimes loopy (e.g. insisting on using Interstates when other closer roads would be better). Overall: Spent a lot of time comparison researching all vans, then nearly 4 hours doing an actual side-by-side comparison to the Toyota Sienna (which I found noticeably more powerful, but also less fuel thrifty and more vague in handling; also, the interior finish wasn't quite as nice). My assessment: they are both surprisingly good cars, and either one is likely to please. I had a slight preference for the Odyssey, and I found a dealer...

hip van for moms!
Source: MSN Autos

...needing to pass or get on the freeway the kids have plenty of room and it always seems to clean up real nice i love the leather interior Cons: my windows also allow air noise i am not sure why i bought the van brand new so i know it has never been hit or driven hard therefore i shouldnt hear wind noise while driving my only complaint Overall: great van! if you have a family it is the best van out there i plan on keeping mine until my kids are older...

HONDA QUALITY !!!!!!!!!!!
Source: MSN Autos

...Pros: I like this vehicle very much. I am 6'8" and the leg room just makes it for me.
Well most vehicles don't have any leg room for me so this makes a good choice.
Cons: The rear a/c control panel is behind my head and I often feel it touch the left rear of my head.
Overall: Very good vehicle for hauling people and other things around. Great for long trips. Very good Multi-purpose vehicle...

Start your own odessey
Source: MSN Autos

...Pros: Great gas mileage because of the VCM. Owned a 02 Grand Caravan and there is no comparison at all.
I also have a 03 GMC Envoy XL SLT and the Odessey V6 is as quite and vibration free as the I6 in the GMC but with a lot better gas mileage.
It also provides a whole lot more room the the Dodge and GMC.
Quality that goes with the Honda brand also provide peace-of-mind.
Cons: I wish it was cheaper Overall: A must buy for those who need this much room and need better gas mileage than a large SUV.
Now if I could only make the stigma that goes with driving a minivan go...

The Vansporter

...system and the lighting for the dash do not work together. The van has a outside light sensing monitor, but when the dash is bright during the day, the Nav. is dim. Even worse if it is day time and raining. I have tried adjusting the brightness on the Nav., but i have to turn the brightness all the way to max. I was told by the service department at Honda, to turn the dash light all the way to max to see the the Nav. screen. Now my dash is very bright, and the Nav screen is very bright, and this makes it difficult to see at night. Overall: I am very pleased with the van, and it accomadates my...

Do I have to admit I own a mini-van?
Source: MSN Autos

...Talk about going to extremes! I was very apprehensive buying a Honda since I did not like my wife's old Accord a little bit, but the Odyssey changed my mind. It's very comfortable inside and a very smooth ride. I've seen posts on multiple boards about the "poor" gas mileage but it's large vehicle and a large engine. You can't expect 27 MPG out of it! I get 21-22 MPG combined using 87 octane I'm very satisfied with that. The large back is great for taking our retriever mix on trips. That being said, some minor annoyances of the vehicle is the location of the gas cap release. I'm just shy of 6'...

Why should I also consider these?

There are not many minivans, crossovers, or SUVs that drive as well as the sporty Mazda 5.

The 2008 Honda Odyssey comes close, even though it is a larger vehicle than the Mazda.

If you don't need the extra room or want a less expensive minivan, then the Mazda 5 is worth a test drive.
