Just good enough for the money.Source: MSN Autos...The interior is cheap but the car was not expensive so I accept that. The stereo is just adequate but the ipod input is a nice feature. The car is thrifty..handles nice and can carry alot of junk. Its great on functionality but seriously lacks good ergonomic design for driver interaction with the stereo, shifter and pedals. I do average about 37MPG with mixed driving but I try to get good mileage but not having a lead foot. The MPG calculator on the dash is consistently 5MPG OVER! It always says I am getting around 42 MPG but the 10.8 gallon tank, trip-ometer and a calculator tell a different... |

Classy AND Sassy!Source: MSN Autos
...Pros: Performance, style, fit and finish are ok,but the seat leather really looks like plastic |

Coffin on WheelsSource: MSN Autos...Anyway, a Jeep Grand Cherokee rear ended her and it killed the child in the back seat. The rear bumper was sitting about 16" from the back of the front seat. Both the driver and front passenger were critically injured as well. Oh, BTW, the driver of the Jeep walked away unscratched. Overall: Bottom line, this car weighs only 2500 lbs. I don't own any large trucks or SUV's and the smallest/lightest vehicle I own weighs 4,200 lbs. The average SUV weighs almost 5000 lbs. If you value your life you will stay away from this car and all cars like it. Buy a real car... |

A Wonderful FitSource: MSN Autos
...Pros: The Fit drives like a nice, tight sportscar - really fun, handles beautifully, and averages 40 mpg. |

My First AccordSource: MSN Autos...The car handles great on highway driving. Good passing and acceleration at highway speeds. Taking off from a stoplight in the city is another matter. Its a very sluggish takeoff, sort of like a 4 banger, and since I mostly drive in the city, the mileage is not that great. Next Accord, (and there will be another) will be the 190 HP 4. One BIG question. Why are only the climate buttons lit on the center stack? I have to put on the interior light at night to change CDs/radio, etc. Takes way too much attention from the road. Overall: Despite the VCM and lack of lighted audio controls, this is a... |

Very HappySource: MSN Autos...Traction control, ABS, TPMS, etc are a plus. The safety features that come standard are exceptional. Cons: It is awkward cleaning the inside front windshield and back window. Plus there could be a storage container for sunglasses on the roof by the lights/ sunroof controls. Overall: Overall, it is a very well equipped car! I got back from a trip to Chicago and I got 41 mpg on highway and 31 in the city. I downsized from Accord EX coupe to get the 4 doors and am very happy. The Civic and Accord are not really that different in interior size. I can fit 4 adults in the Civic comfortably and they... |

The 2009 Honda Fit is priced significantly higher than most of its small-car competitors, but it feels much more substantial from behind the wheel, with a firm but well-controlled ride and better steering and handling than most inexpensive small vehicles.
The automatic transmission in the Fit has five speeds—one more than the competition—which helps bring good performance and fuel economy, along with relaxed highway cruising.
The Fit’s engine also lacks the fatigue-inducing boominess and coarseness at high-rev acceleration or higher cruising speeds that most of these rivals have.
Anti-lock brakes, which are standard on the Fit, are optional or not available on many of its competitors.
Among these competitors, all but the Rio5 have a softer ride than the Fit, but it doesn’t necessarily bring more ride comfort; the Rio5 handles quite well but isn’t as comfortable at high speeds, and the Versa rides and handles like a larger, heavier car, lacking the Fit’s nimble feel.
And none of these models match the Fit’s cargo or back-seat space.
The xD, with its taller body and boxier appearance, is perhaps the most direct competitor to the Fit, but the materials used inside the Scion feel cheaper and there’s not nearly as much cargo space or seating space in back.
