the big Cadillac beastSource: MSN Autos...it had bunch of good features Cons: Third row seat isn't available. Its hard to park between the other big cars. the 2002 model cost $15,000 more so we end up with the 2000. the brake system was so week that I crashed into a truck on the I 10 Freeway in Phoenix winter of 2005. we don't travel in it that much because of higher gas price, we haven't used it on long trip since December of 2007. gas mileage average 15 MPG so we cruise around in the 04 Honda Civic Hybrid Overall: Its still running good right now with 97,000 miles on it. BIG BANG FOR THE BUCK IN AN ECONOBOX!Source: MSN Autos...I think it should be 100,000. Bumper to bumper warranty @ 3year/36,000 miles falls short [although about standard for the industry], and read the fine print in the warranty book. for example, A/C refrigerant refill has only 1 year warranty. And the emissions warranties are a nightmare to decipher. I passed on the extended warranty,but was told it was being offered at the dealers cost. I doubt that. My comment to the salesperson was "With the reputation you, HONDA, and others are boasting about this brand, the car should outlast, troublefree, the extended warranty period you are trying to sell... |

230WHP B16A2 ALL MOTOR MONSTERSource: MSN Autos...Im going to run it for the 300,000 miles its capabale of and then buy another motor and run it for another 300,000 miles. I really love this car... Cons: I cant go out to the movies and enjoy the movies without having to worry about my car in the back of my mind if weither or not my car will be there when i get back, but my car is modified so yea. Other then that i have nothing bad to say about this car. The best car I've ever owned, She has always been there for me and i just simply love her with everything i have in return...... and you know how the story goes...... YOU CAN NEVER FORGET... |

2000 Honda Civic Si: Attractive, Solid PerformerSource: MSN Autos...Cons: Higher Fuel price: Back in 1999, the fuel prices were not as high as they are now. So that would be one drawback. All Si's since have required higher octane fuel to run the higher charged VTEC engines. If you are looking for overall fuel economy, the Si is not the most fuel efficent in the inventory. Although, it is possible to get 40+ MPG on the highway. I have done it several times with cross country trips. Also, this is a valuable car for its parts.
