A very good car
Source: Cars.com

..."This car has the feel of a more expensive vehicle than the MSRP price.
The base features are more than most people would need, the interior is as well designed as any car I have owned.
Due to the noise cancelling feature and the noise insulation, it is extremely quite.
The electric power steering has good road feel. GMC has done a very nice engineering job with this model. Very tastefully done."...

The Everything Car
Source: MSN Autos

...It is dependable, easy on gas (even with the high mileage), easy to handle, has roadability, and style. It has taken me to many states, under many different terrain and weather conditions and has never let me down. I love the way it feels on the road. The amount of cargo room in this car is astounding! I have carried everything in this car from inflated ballons for a bridal shower to 8ft finishing strips and molding, 5 ft folding tables, bags of sand, fishing tackle, camping equipment and much, much more. For the most part the only repairs have been your normal maintenance, oil changes...

Poor Mileage
Source: Cars.com

..."I would have recommended this vehicle highly if it could have gotten anywhere near the mileage it states on the sticker.
The only reason I bought it was for the mileage and only getting 26 hwy not the 32 it states.
Will rate it higher if that improves but I already have 8000 miles on it and not yet. Dealer says it needs to be broke in at 10,000 miles. Don't see it happening."...

Good features and good gas mileage
Source: Cars.com

..."I purchased this car SUV because I was about to take a new job that required a good amount of driving and also would require transporting some material.
I really have enjoyed this purchase. For me, I love the Onstar, bluetooth and Xm Radio/iPod interior functions.
I do not know if I will ever buy another car that does not have built in Bluetooth from now on. When you spend as much time in a car as I do, these little features make it alot more enjoyable...

A great running durable car
Source: MSN Autos

...Pros: - Design (both exterior and interior) - Power
- Full Configuration - Great variety of tires - Interior space versatility in trunk and back seat (foldable) - Great safety Cons: - I would have like a little bit more power,
like the newer models - Both Seats got stuck recently,
possibly seat rail design issue - Driver seat adjustment (a little more space for legs on right) compared to or with referenced to mid-separating area, namely, cup-holder/transmission control area.
Customizing further seat comfort -specially driver's space- would be helpful in satisfying the...

Worth the Effort

...Pros: Eye Catching :Carbon Black Paint Job ,Two Tone leather interior, firm stable platform, killer sound system Cons: Monthly payments Overall: My efforts to save GMC paid off for the both of us...

Luv It
Source: Cars.com

..."Great vehicle for the $$.Only thing I miss is the power but the exchange for the great gas mileage.
It feels luxurious even though the price tag is low. I've driven it about a 1,000 miles....totally love it."...

Awesome
Source: Cars.com

..."I dont know why everyone compares the Terrain to the CRV, Rav4, Rogue and the Escape.
It compares very well to the Highlander and Murano. I was looking at the Highlander and Murano until I sat in and drove the much better value Terrain."...

Why should I also consider these?

The 2010 Chevrolet Equinox is the same basic vehicle, priced about the same and available with all of the same equipment but with a very different look.

If the Terrain sounds like the right vehicle for you, but just doesn't fit your image, try the Equinox.

The Toyota RAV-4 and Honda CR-V beat out the Terrain in cargo room, but the Terrain's long options list and good fuel economy make it a worthy alternative.

The slightly smaller Nissan Rogue and Ford Escape compete well on price, but the Terrain could beat them on features and size.

2010 Chevrolet Equinox
The 2010 Chevrolet Equinox is all about evolution—and the most striking changes are almost invisible, except at the gas pump.

2010 Ford Escape
Don’t let the 2010 Ford Escape’s boxy, old-school appearance turn you off; the Escape is a solid, fuel-efficient choice for city-dwelling families.

2010 Nissan Rogue
The 2010 Nissan Rogue doesn’t wow in any respect, but provided you don’t expect driving excitement its solid set of features, safety, and decent performance won’t let you down.

2010 Toyota RAV4
Though it might wear a spare tire on its tail like the hard-core SUVs of yore, don't let that throw you off. The 2010 Toyota RAV4 is actually a practical, fuel-efficient choice for frugal families on the go.
