Denali is the way to goSource: MSN Autos...The Denali package is well worth the money. What I thought that they could not improve on, they did. I bought the 2005 in December of 2004 and have put nearly 36k miles on, and it has been an excellent vehicle. On another note, we have a 2003 Cadillac Escalade ESV and it is not nearly the vehicle the Denali is. In my opinion, save the money. Cons: The only complaint that I have on this truck is I wish they would have put "back-up" sensors on the truck. City driving can be difficult, but with any large SUV it comes with the territory. Overall: Overall I have found the Denali to be an excellent... |

Big is Beautifull.Source: MSN Autos...4x4's I had in the past..no names..In fact I'm impressed with GMC altogether..But then again 3 months is a short period..will report again later. Cons: Only dislike, handling in the wet with 2x4 mode..unsafe..you have to go to 4 auto immediately.. Also ABS is scarry in the wet..You have to get used to it and never lend it to anyone in the wet,if u want it back..ABS kicks in immediately and if you are downhill the car does not stop..You have to give yourself space..As I said, you've got to get used to it..nothing else bad to report.. It could do with bigger wheels and tyres..The 16" look small... |

Pretty but thats itSource: MSN Autos...Terrible sound system. CD changer under passenger seat a joke. Gas pedal placement always had my ankle hurting. Several major mechanical breakdowns requiring towing. (cooling and electrical related) Power and braking marginal. Overall: I traded this in for a 2001 GMC Denali. It was my first American car purchase in twenty years. I am pleased to say I couldn't be happier. I rate the Denali a ten in all categories. Granted, the Denali is more expensive than the Discovery but you do get a lot more power, room, comfort, handling, braking, etc. A Yukon without Denali trim would be a better... |

YOU WANT A DENALI BABY!Source: MSN Autos...For the price accessories like a rear cargo mat and cover should have come with it! That's it-People complain about the gas but you shouldn't buy a machine this size&power and expect to plug it in and charge it overnight... Overall: This is hands down the best vehicle I have ever owned. I am very proud of it and it is what I wanted. The bottom line is get what you want! This has a quiet ride, comfort, roomy, sweet looks, just plain flat out CLASS! The Power is amazing. Handling is outstanding. The Moonroof is the only way to go. You can always add a DVD system and customize it the way you... |
