Very Disappointed
Source: Edmunds

...We have owned our 2007 Acadia for just over a year and it has been very disappointing.
The first 2 months we owned it...it lived in the shop.
Leaks from the moon roof. Then it was the suspension.
Then it was the battery. Then the last straw was the transmission completely going. NOT GOOD. We traded it....took a loss and got out of it as soon as we could...

lots of kids

..."the ride is comfortable and we can fit all of the kids in without any problem. The only problem I have it the fan for the heat/ac seems to make an odd whirring noise. Overall, I love my car."...

Bad Engines stay away
Source: Edmunds

...I have a 2007 acadia with 66,900 miles and I had to replace waterpump at 50,000 miles and now the engine light has come on.
I took it to the dealer and they said that the engine will need to be removed do to a bad camshaft. It seems to be a big issue with the 3.6 engine just google camshaft-timing chain problems...

A Huge Disappointment
Source: Cars.com

...The car has been in the shop more times than I care to talk about. After only 3,000 miles I noticed the front end had a popping noise as if the axle were breaking into pieces. I was told it was the strut supports and that the problem had been corrected. It has been in the shop three times since with the same complaint and they tell me they can not recreate the problem. Good thing this is only a lease. THe car shakes as if it is going to die at red lights. I have complained about this several times only to be told they can not recreate the problem. After spending nearly 45,000.00 on a vehicle...

Great vehicle - Happy customer
Source: Cars.com

...I got mine brand new in 2007 and have never thought twice about it. It is the best vehicle I have ever owned and I have had more than 20. It is a great design inside and out, remote start and backup alarm for the blind spots.I always take pristine care of my vehicles and keep them up like brand new, so this one looks and even smells new although it is 3 years old. I would recommend these to anyone with a family or to a single mother or father, as they are designed for convenience to get to the 3rd row seats and can carry quite a lot of cargo as well. Happy motoring everyone!!!!"...

Best vehicle I've ever owned!
Source: Cars.com

..."The best of both worlds - drives like a car and has the cargo capablility of an SUV!
I like this far better than the Expedition I previously drove.
My only complaint: that there are only 3 choices for interior color...all black, nearly all black or red....
Favorite thing: the heads-up display. When on a long drive at night, it's absolutely fabulous to see all the important info in front of you without taking your eyes off the road.
GMC has a huge hit on their hands!"...

Awesome Acadia
Source: Cars.com

..."I anxiously awaited for the release of this cross-over and was not disappointed.
It suits all my needs from wanting to upgrade into something larger but not into a full-size SUV.
It is stylish and comfortable and I love all the available convenience options (power lift gate, heads-up display, and ample "trunk" space, etc.)...

GM hit a home run
Source: Edmunds

...Quiet, safe, lots of useful space, refined, decent on gas, drives like a car, great looks...

very unhappy
Source: Cars.com

...Usable space is same but feels so much smaller. The warning lights go off constently when nothing is wrong. Called on star and they saw nothing wrong. Had a problem a couple of weeks ago where the car was shaking uncontrollably once we go over 50 mph. On star didn't see a problem and it stopped the next day before whe got it to a shop and they saw nothing wrong. They said something could have been stuck underneath that threw the wheels out of balance, but the shaking was so bad that we could hardly steer, so I think there was more to it. About a week after the shaking incident, the...
