Great Work Horse
Source: Cars.com

..."I bought this vehicle to haul people and tow my toys.
I am very satisfied with the vehicles performance in these catagories.
No it does not get great gas mileage, no it does not accelerate like a sports car and some would say it is not pretty, but if you need a vehicle that hauls people and things it is a great buy.
The fold flat seats beat anything that GM has to offer making it a very useful work horse."...

Great Value For the Money
Source: Cars.com

..."This SUV offers the comfort and ease of handling as a sedan, while giving great space for persons or cargo.
The mileage is excellent, considering the size of this large truck.
The uses of this truck range from a serious driver who will be hauling 4000 pounds, to the mom who picks up 6 kids from the soccer game.
The features of the car and the ease of use make this a great buy for anyone looking for this size truck. I would reccomend this vehicle to anyone, anytime."...

I love my Expedition
Source: Cars.com

...Other than that, I love the DVD system, and the BOSE speakers. Oh, I think it is so unique how the compass is in the dashboard instead of the rearview mirror. Interesting huh? I think so. Recently, I test driven the 2007 Expedition. I plan on purchasing the 2008 version in March. I’m still going to keep the 2004 Expedition because I feel very comfortable letting my son drive it to & from school. Plus, it seems like it is easier for him to drive that SUV, then my wife’s GMC Yukon. Enough about my personal life… The 2004 Expedition is an excellent vehicle overall, however, I recommend...

$21,000

...This has been the best car I have ever owned! Very smooth riding, quiet and comfortable!
The car is in excellent condition inside and out. It has new tires and has had regular oil changes.
I am the only one in the car 99% of the time and really need a smaller vehicle that is more fuel efficient.
My Expedition averages 18 mpg. I really hate to part with it but with a single income and rising fuel prices you gotta make some sacrifices!...

People hauler
Source: Cars.com

...Took the camper to Idaho, 6.5 mpg! No other problems. Loves the gas, but all tanks do. Got 137,500 mi. Now that we have 4 boys (TWINS) it is the only way to travel. The dark blue color we ordered is not common, and we still get raves for that color. Have had the windows (2) pull out of the channels when the kids rolled down after they were frozen from snow. New $220 glass to fix. I even tried JB weld, but the guides are small and flimsey, didn't hold for long. You can take the third seat out and put in facing back, open the rear lift and watch the parade! Never saw a Chevy do that."...

5th flawless E-150
Source: Cars.com

..."I have owned 5 E-150s and have yet to have any problems.
They are the best large vehicle for the money you can get.
I am sure a Expedition or similar would handle better but they also cost a lot more. You wont find a more comfortable or convenient vehicle for a large family."...

Sweet Ride
Source: Cars.com

..."With 4 kids (read lots of activities) this people hauler gets it done in style and comfort.
Vehicle feels like quality with enough comfort and interior features to live in this thing.
My black "Limited" with 20 chrom wheels is a head turner. My only complaint is weird tranny shift from 1st to 2nd. Overall, a great vehicle, what I would expect from a Ford truck."...

Best suv ever
Source: MSN Autos

...Pros: Pulls my 8,000 pound boat over a summit doing 60.
I am always passing tahoes with smaller boats. Cons: Arent any! Overall: I drove the escalade, denali and the expedition and this one was by far the best out of them!...

Happy owner.
Source: Cars.com

..."Looks great and is what I needed to haul people and toys.
The six speed does shift more than I like and wonder what extra stress that puts on the engine/drive train.
For the money, I couldn't ask for anything more. Interior plastic, snap-together pieces tend to seperate. Like the ride and handling."...

Why should I also consider these?

Gas prices...gas prices, moan, complain...woe are we.

This is a good time to ask yourself whether you really need a full-size, truck-based SUV.

Well, do you? Do you need to tow more than three tons? Do you need a maximum payload of over 1,500 pounds? If you answered no to these questions, they why are you even thinking of wasting this truck's capabilities on commuting or people-hauling? There are less costly and more efficient vehicles out there for those jobs, including crossovers, minivans, and even the 2009 Ford Flex (we don't know what to call that vehicle yet).

The 2009 GMC Yukon really stands out among truck-based SUVs because of its great towing and hauling capabilities.

Competitors to the 2009 Nissan Armada offer roomier interiors and better options, but the Armada should be commended for its handsome looks and powerful V-8 engine.

2008 Toyota Sequoia
The 2008 Toyota Sequoia is a capable example of the full-size SUV--in a day where the full-size SUV makes less and less sense.
