Wonderful
Source: MSN Autos

...Pros: There is room for everything, family, friends, dogs, and camping gear.
It is great Cons: paying for gas - but it's well worth it.
Overall: We love this truck, we have a 35ft. travel trailer, family of 4 and dogs.
We fill it more times than I had ever imagined. I don't know what we would do without it. We have had it for 4 yrs now...

I Love My Truck
Source: Cars.com

...Some say that it is a "Gas Hog" but I average about 13 MPG (city) and about 17 MPG (highway). It is on a 3/4 ton truck frame, but it is classified as an SUV because of the interior. You're getting the power of a large truck with the comfort of a family SUV. The interior has more than enough room with two captain chairs in front and second and third row bench seats. The second row, 60/40 bench seats are removable or you can flip them forward and the third row bench seat is removable as well (or you can lay it flat) for those times when you just need more room! Overall, the Excursion is an...

My Excursion
Source: MSN Autos

...Pros: Power, size, interior passenger room, excellent vehicle on long family trips Cons: Better braking system would be a plus and more interior comforts Overall: We as a family love our TRUCK!
It's called an suv but don't forget that it is a truck first and foremost.
It has awesome power for towing. If your looking for gas mileage this isn't the truck for you, it was designed and built as a truck that can do any job you throw at it...

2001 FORD EXCURSION LIMITED V-10
Source: Cars.com

..."I've driven my Excursion Limited nearly 50,000 miles on all types of roads and in town.
The V-10 engine performs flawlessly. I feel like an airline passenger when driving on the highway, because the Excursion is so smooth and quiet.
It's a little thirsty at times, especially when driving in the mountains.
Overall, I get a combined average of 16 MPG on regular unleaded fuel.
This big SUV will definitely move fast when you want it to! Plenty of room for all of my equipment and gear. Plus, I can carry up to 7 passengers."...

Ford Rules
Source: MSN Autos

...Pros: I like the space of the interior, the 7.3 turbo diesel engine gas mileage and acceleration.
The styling also appeals to me. Cons: The expense of repairs for 7.3l turbo diesel are somewhat costly. Overall: Overall I am well satisfied with the performance of this vehicle...

No other like it and Diesel gets rid of any possible flaw.
Source: MSN Autos

...Cons: Well.... realy have not found anything I can actualy say I dislike. Ford thought of everything when they built my Excursion. Overall: If you are thinking of getting one, do it. If you are having second thoughts about your vehicle, maybe you chose the wrong engine. I can only say the Excursion Limited with Diesel Engine is by far the most Awesome SUV out there. Don't get me wrong, I don't want to get rid of my Tahoe or my Mercedes ML Series, but when you want to make a long trip, when you get there and the people you are visiting want to come along to wherever, let them. The Ford...
