Transmission FailureSource: MSN Autos...but not the 1998 & 1999, although they are the same transmissions. Go figure. If you experience the same problem skip the dealer and go straight Honda headquarters with your complaint. If you are buying this car used be sure and ask if the Transmission has been replaced. If it hasn't, that could be why they are selling it. Overall: It is too bad Honda was not forthcoming with the transmission failures and issued a recall. The dealers in my area are denying there is a problem, however in talking to local transmission shops, the issue is well known in the industry. This will certainly make me... |

good car, but problematicSource: MSN Autos...Gas mileage is decent as well, I've calculated it at being around 30 miles to the gallon on the highway. Overall, I am very pleased with its performance, especially its acceleration. It's great for standard travel. Also, the back is roomy. Cons: I bought the car used less than a year ago, now with about 60,000 miles, and have already run into some problems. I had a $500 problem with my power steering, which required purchasing new parts. Lightbulbs for the interior in the clock and odometer already have burned out and the AC temperature knob has already broken off. Overall: I am pleased... |

Hoda 4cyl EX leatherSource: MSN Autos...We needed something that would last till retirement in 5 years and a car that would run 150K without to many problems. I have owned German cars for the last 30 years and no more. 10K in 3 months Perfect! Cons: Wish the radio was a little better Overall: This car is a 4cyl ex with leather and auto. After 10K and 3 months not a single rattle or problem,it has aways gotten 33-36 mpg driving at the speed limit plus 10 max. Using synthetic oil every 7,500. $38.00 at local dealer(cheap) Though not the most exciting it os excellent for what it was made to do, be 100% reliable with good mph. 4 cyl... |

Don't be hate'n my Honda...player.Source: MSN Autos...Not bad for a car that has over 500K miles! Cons: Unfortunatley the style is less than to be desired. I had to make my own lowering kit to make it look half way decent. Like the exterior, the interior needed some love as well. I had my wife knit some way cool tribal seat covers to keep those gear heads at check. I let them know the big dog was in town with my 600 lbs bass system. Overall: Considering what I had....it wasn't too bad. But now?!?! If you see my ride at the car show.....don't be hating. One day you too will acheive greatness. As for me, the wife and I are living in my mom's... |
