Only vans i own
Source: Cars.com

..."I have owned an 87,90,92,96,98 and now a 2001 grand caravan.
Wouldnt trade it for the world. Great van use it for work {cable installer} and personal. Just have that tranny money ready at 80 to 100k miles. No complaint tho. Drive the van any and everywhere."...

Run, Run Fast, Run to a Nissan, Toyota, or Honda dealer.
Source: MSN Autos

...Everything shakes and shimmies if you so much as look at it. 6 Speed Automatic Transmission is a joke. Gears 2 and 3 seem to have the exact same ratio, and it takes an astonishing 3 shifts to hit 60. The "Manual" feature also seems to be silently mocking you as it will continue to display the gear you select even though it has obviously changed gears on its own. Using the brakes is like putting your foot in a bowl of oatmeal. It has this nifty green interior lighting, but no light under the hood, which was NOT helpful when checking out the strange noise in the dark.. More gaps in the bodywork...

Durable and Reliable
Source: MSN Autos

...It is used as a commuter car (15K / year) now and now has 170,000 miles with no major repairs. The biggest issue I have had outside of occational maintenance was fixing a bit of rust in the body and trans cover (front drivers wheel - a common problem) - and needed to re-flash the transmission computer to make the shifting smoother (part of standard maint). I continue to be surprised every day as to how well this car still runs - still getting 22MPG on the highway with a 3.3L engine. Cons: Rust issue are few - but exist in this car. Overall: Exceptionally happy with the durability and quality...

This Van handles like an SUV
Source: Cars.com

..."I have this same van. I bought it because it was safe for my new baby, at the time, and had 2 sliding doors - a must!
It rides and handles like a truck. Can pull a tent trailer and corners better than my husbands RAM!
The interior cloth is the best! Better than the new offerred.
Doesn't show the stains and cleans up great. I have 2 boys (need I say more?).
I am definately going to get another Grand Caravan. The space in the back is huge and holds a plastic red rider! Definately worth the money!"...

Best van by anyone
Source: MSN Autos

...Pros: EVERYTHING Cons: NOTHING Overall: OK, I had a two page review that got dumped so this will be short.
It works so far and I will update this at 6-12 months.
Pain trying to program the Homelink buttons but I will take it to the dealer to see what is up on that.
Could be user error. LOL 6 Dodge vans in the extended family, all different year groups and at least 4 vans that were sold over the last 15 years to buy new ones.
The first ones we owned had transmission problems but nothing since 2000 has been a problem. Stay tuned...

great van
Source: MSN Autos

...Pros: rides very well and noise is minimum, much quieter than my 2000 sport was Cons: haven't found anything, I have owned for about six weeks and only have 1500 miles.
Overall: best rig I have ever owned...

Really Great Suburban Ride
Source: MSN Autos

...Pros: My wife bought this van when it was brand new and she now has over 120,000 miles on it.
It has never given us any problem. The only work we have done on it is routine maintenance.
It is very comfortable to ride in. Cons: It has a lot of body roll, so it isn't great for windy mountain roads. Overall: I would buy another one, but with AWD since we now live in the mountains...

BELT BAFFLED
Source: MSN Autos

...Pros: OVER ALL THIS VEHICLE IS GREAT Cons: ~ THE ONE THING THAT TRUMPS ALL THE PROS IS THE FACT THAT WHEN STREETS ARE WET...THE SURPENTINE BELT COMES OFF.
IT HAS BECOME A HUGE & FRUSTARATING (UNDERSTATEMENT) ACCURANCE.
~ ONE OF THE OTHER THINGS IS THE OIL LEAK. WE HAVE REPLACED THE GASKET SEVERAL TIMES AND SINCE AFTER ABOUT 5 TIMES OF THAT IT WASN'T FIXED, WE BOUGHT A NEW OIL PAN AND GASKET.
THE NEW OIL PAN WAS A WASTE OF $$$$$$AS WELL BECAUSE EVEN AFTER THAT IT STILL LEAKS.
Overall: THANKFULLY MY HUSBAND KNOWS CARS. HE HAS BEEN ABLE TO FIX THE PROBLEM AFTER EVERY...

grand caravan
Source: Cars.com

...on it and i change and monitor my oil and it is using a quart every thousand miles and i have an extended warranty and the powertrain warranty and talked with chrysler and their standards are 1 quart every thousand miles under 50,000 =and 1 quart every 750 miles as normal which we all know is B.S. and way to much oil and they say it is fine and wont fix anything. I'm not the only one with this issue and this is the quality chrysler is proud to put their name on. I like everything else but will not buy another chrysler if this is what they consider excellent quality.."...

Versatile and economical transportation.
Source: MSN Autos

...Cruises with ease down the highway. Body holding up well. Cons: Headliner loose. Needs misc minor repairs but just went over 200,000 miles. Smokes a little. 3.0 engine with the 3 speed transmission very reliable but leak prone. Would not have with 4 speed as to many problems. Overall: Excellent car for every use. Repair cost about $500 annual. Cheap and fuel efficient compared to any new car for same purposes. Worth staying with in this economy!!! Bought for $700 and Have another $700 in repairs. Can't replace for the little it takes to keep it going. Wife loves it. A lot of good words for a...

Why should I also consider these?

The 2009 Ford Flex is a different take on the traditional minivan.

With its MINI-esque styling and seven-passenger interior, this might be a Ford worth considering if you don't fall in love with the Grand Caravan.

If value is your biggest attractor, check out the Hyundai Entourage.

It does not offer everything the Dodge does, but the Entourage may have enough for you.

If you're not sure you need all the room found in the 2009 Dodge Grand Caravan, check out the Mazda5.

It's sportier and more fun to drive than the Dodge.

Don't even think of asking for Stow 'n Go seats or Sirius TV at a Honda or Toyota dealership.

Dodge's price point is significantly lower than either the Honda's or Toyota's, and the Grand Caravan offers more variety in terms of powertrains and available features than either competitor.

And if you drive the 2009 Dodge Grand Caravan back to back with a Honda Odyssey or Toyota Sienna, you'll likely feel some differences in refinement; the Dodge doesn't quite have the level of polish that the Honda and Toyota do.

2009 Ford Flex
The 2009 Ford Flex is one of the most stylish new crossovers, with great passenger room and more features than some minivans.

2008 Honda Odyssey
The 2008 Honda Odyssey melds everyday practicality with fun-to-drive.

2008 Hyundai Entourage
You'll find the 2008 Hyundai Entourage at the intersection of Practical St. and Value Ave.

2008 Mazda MAZDA5
Provided you don't expect too much of a zoom-zoom feel, the 2008 Mazda Mazda5 is one of the few good choices for buyers looking for minivan spaciousness in a vehicle that's especially fuel-efficient and maneuverable.

2008 Toyota Sienna
The 2008 Toyota Sienna minivan does almost everything right for the family, with a roomy, functional interior and great ride comfort, but there’s not a lot of personality.
