Great Tow vehicle!
Source: Edmunds

...I got an awesome deal on my 98, back in 02. So I used $$$left in my truck budget to completely rebuild its front end (all 8 new Moog ball joint).
The difference was amazing! Overall, gas mileage was poor (11-12mpg). But I had ZERO other problems with the truck and it now has 148k miles!...

...Love this car. Just purchased a 2011 "leftover" for a great value.
This car has high quality features and is a real looker. I go places and I get unsolicited comments from people on how much they like my car...

I will never buy another
Source: Edmunds

...At first it was great until the brakes started to squeak after 2 weeks. I tried 3 different brands of brakes pads and bought new rotors but they still were making the noise. I gave up. Then 2 months later the transfer case seals started to leak which I later found to be a common problem. That was a $300 repair with only 50K miles on the truck. I liked the room and the looks but with such poor gas mileage and build quality, I cut my losses. Never again. The truck also developed quite a bit of surface rust. The truck was sold after 11 months of ownership. So much for Dodge...

..."I just bought this vehicle and I love it so far, we bought this car to get me by for the winter.
So far I really like it, It drives really well and it looks awesome for a 10 year old car.
The only thing with dodge is that it has car lock issues it starts to make noice in the long run but that could be fixable.
I also had a neon before and it did the same thing. But overall, I love this car."...

I thought i would hate it but i love it
Source: Edmunds

...When my BMW broke down i had to get a new vehicle. I work for a VW dealership and a customer traded this durango in.
This truck was immaculant for the miles. I was used to 30 mpg but always in a small car.
This SUV is comfortable and very fun to drive. I have heard and saw all the horror stories about this truck. I will not be getting rid of this vehicle at all!!!...

Don't forget your wallet on trips
Source: Edmunds

...I like the fact that this car has never left me stranded, but I only get 11 MPG in town and 15 MPG on the highway!
My keyless entry only works when it wants to, and my security alarm goes off even when it's parked in the garage for no apparent reason!
My biggest complaint though is the gas mileage. It's very poor. I could understand if I were pulling a trailer, but not just cruising down the highway...

Wow, Nicest thing i've ever ridden in!

..."I am the proud new owner of the new Dodge Durango citadel rwd.
I am only 28 but needed something to haul the family around but also my youth needs to still be intact.
There is nothing bad to say about this vehicle so far, 6,000 miles in so I don't know about the reliability but I am definitely enjoying every mile in it til then.
If you are looking to spend 40k on an suv then this should definitely be on the list for test drives."...

Fun to drive
Source: Edmunds

...Just bought a 2004 Dodge Durango 5.7 L Hemi limited model in a graphite color w/ leather.
Very nice. Handles raod well. Boy does it have power!
335HP. Sucks down gas. About 11 mpg in city. DVD player is a must with small kids, I never hear them anymore.
Incredible turning radius for a big SUV. Sits very high. 4 inches higher tham old Durango & 11 inches longer. Great SUV!...
