Durango, Nice RideSource: MSN Autos...There have been 2 recalls. I really did not need the 3rd row seating, however when they stowed I have so much room for hauling items. The heating and ac work very well. The seating is comfortable. I feel for an SUV the price for good tires is not out of sight. Cons: The radio and cd player should have been a better quality. I have sometimes noticed a blind spot and this makes me cautious when having to pass. Overall: I purcased my Durango almost 4 years ago, and would purchase this SUV again. This is a popular SUV where I live. I have used my Durango for all types of travel and have enjoyed... |

We love our two Durangos!Source: MSN Autos...Our 2006 silver Durango Limited has passed 35,000 miles and haven't had a single repair or problem. Very nicely refined, good handling, braking and acceleration. I often take lots of colleagues out to lunch and they love the comfortable leather seats. Plenty of room even in the third row for adults. Cons: Would be nice if it got better gas mileage but in all fairness it seems to get decent gas mileage for the size and weight. It can cruise along at 70mph and get 22 mpg. With gas prices the way they are now, I'd rather see 32mpg, but that's not the vehicle I purchased! Overall: We've had lots... |

Decent RideSource: MSN Autos...The exterior is very sleek. Option to buy E85 gas. Cons: No storage! The console is very small. No overhead storge. The glove compartment is small too. When you lay down all the seats way too many holes or spaces that make it an uncomfortable ride for the dogs. I bought the Dodge liner to help cover the spaces..very thin & flimsy. Poor dogs still fell through. I agree with anothers review...too many blind spots. Overall: Nice SUV all around with a few downsides like the storage. I really do like the ride. Its Awesome! The Durango is beautiful and built very sturdy... |

The BestSource: MSN Autos...Controls are well placed and easy to use. I even still have the original tires and they have miles left in them. My 4.7 V8 gets 21 mpg on the highway. Great space for hauling big loads. A great vehicle. I especially like the overhead console which gives me the all limportant outside temperature and compass features. Cons: My only complaint when buying this vehicle was the poor exterior color selection. There are many very attractive colors available in other vehicles, but the Durango's choices seemed a bit drab and unimaginative. Overall: I've said about all I can about my Durango. It's the... |

Love My DurangoSource: MSN Autos...It handles nicely and I love that I sit up high. I can fit my four dogs in the back with no problem, including a great dane along with other things. It is a great car to take on trips and drive around town. I have leather and the heated seats are awesome in the winter and have held up nicely. Cons: There is a blind spot when you are looking behind you where the door casing meets the car. It is hard to see out of the window around this. Overall: I really love my car, am actually looking at newer ones now. I would recommend a Durango to anyone considering one who isn't worried about gas mileage... |

We love our two Durangos!Source: MSN Autos...Very nicely refined, good handling, braking and acceleration. I often take lots of colleagues out to lunch and they love the comfortable leather seats. Plenty of room even in the third row for adults. The 4.7L has decent power. Cons: Would be nice if it got better gas mileage but in all fairness it seems to get decent gas mileage for the size and weight. It can cruise along at 70mph and get 21 mpg. With gas prices the way they are now, I'd rather see 32mpg, but that's not the vehicle I purchased! Overall: We've had lots of vehicles over the years but the Durango is our favorite... |

The 2008 Dodge Durango is somewhere between the mid-size and full-size truck-based SUVs from GM and Ford.
It's about the same length as the short-wheelbase versions of the full-size SUVs from GM and Ford, but it's narrower and isn't as tall, which makes its interior feel smaller; and though it's quite a few inches longer than the Explorer and TrailBlazer, it's only slightly wider and taller.
Yet, even though the Durango is slightly smaller than those big SUVs, it doesn't handle any better.
The Durango offers a usable third-row seat, an advantage over those smaller models, and has tow ratings that are competitive with some larger, full-size SUVs.
It's a good deal for those who tow; especially in one of its lower trim levels when optioned with the HEMI engine, the Durango makes a good tow vehicle for thousands less than the Expedition or Tahoe.
