Disappointed Honda Accord Owner and Fairfax Honda CustomerSource: MSN Autos...Overall: I was initially excited and happy with my purchase. Unfortunately, I discovered things that are not always apparent in a test drive. I've been disappointed in the workmanship of the vehicle as well as the service of my dealer (Fairfax Honda). The brakes were a shock. I couldn't imagine that a new Honda's breaks would go bad in 14 months. I think this is outrageous. I reported the transmission and body issues several months ago, but they have not been resolved. The transmission problem "could not be duplicated" and the body issues require a "district rep" from Honda to look at it... |

Nice stylish car for the money. Not perfect, but a descent little car.Source: MSN Autos...There is a blind spot to the rear passenger side, but it forces you to use your mirrors more. Not too many negatives, every car has some cons. Overall: Originally, I wanted the Charger, but the Avenger was 1/2 the lease payment. No brainer there. I thought at first that it was more a girl's car, but I came to terms with it not being a Charger. Takes me back and forth to work and serves its purpose. Decent gas mileage. I have a silver Avenger w/ nice rims and tinted windows. The car looks sharp from the side and front views. Don't really care about the looks of the rear of the car. Overall... |

Classy Muscle CarSource: MSN Autos...Fuel economy is actually great for a V8. My commute is about 50/50, still gets around 20mpg. I can get 23-24 mpg on the highway easy. Cons: It had some minor rattles in cold weather. The rubber strip on the ceiling fell off, but I was able to put it back on without having to take it in. It has stayed on ever since, I guessed it was just a bad install job. It is American made after all... :( The rear design could use some more improvement, but it is growing on me. The only feature I wished it has is a backup camera. I could used it since it is a big sedan. Overall: I bought this car in... |

Blue 2009 Charger 3.5L HO 4 DoorSource: MSN Autos...high output V6 has capability to wind up over 6500 RPM to get it moving, the trunk has plenty of room, and the seating is very comfortable on long highway drives, also has good acceleration at highway speeds for passing as the five speed auto downshifts nicely on command. Easier to park than you would think given its size. Gets over 400 miles on a tank of gas at highway speeds. Cons: It is a very heavy car, moderate winds push it around violently while cruising, does not track well in highway grooves at speeds over 80, brakes continuously pulsate when moving slowly before and after stopping... |

Nice Comfortable Hot RodSource: MSN Autos

There aren’t any other rear-wheel-drive domestic-brand sedans that directly face off against the 2009 Dodge Charger.
Its closest rival is likely the Pontiac G8; the G8’s performance is excellent, with handling that surpasses that of the Charger, but appearance can mean everything to sport sedan buyers, and the G8’s sheetmetal just doesn’t have that magic.
For those interested in a little more luxury and a more conservative appearance, the Hyundai Genesis is a new and very formidable rival; especially in V-8 form, the Genesis provides respectable overall performance with a feel like luxury-brand cars costing $10,000 more.
The Nissan Maxima is another rival; its styling and interior are eye-catching and sporty, but its more laid-back performance character doesn’t quite match its looks.
The Ford Taurus is another alternative in the V-6 realm, but it’s a different type of vehicle altogether—comfort-oriented and tops for safety.
However, things might get more exciting next year when a new Taurus SHO performance model debuts.
