The Dynamic Car
Source: MSN Autos

...Pros: When you drive the car you feel like your riding in a plush car.
Cons: My engine got ruined from a authorized dealer who didn't know what he was doing.
Now I need a new engine, and the car is only three years old. Also the dealer messed up my milage guage. Overall: If I didn't have the problem with the car I would have bought it again...

Would not do it again
Source: MSN Autos

...Pros: Was a good buy when I got it. Lots of features: leather, sunroof, etc.
Price was very appealing. Cons: Sensors kept going out, short life on breaks, poor tires, no trade in value Overall: I would not recommend this car although I had owned mine for three years.
Had very hard time getting rid of time. Upside down bad in the trade in.
At 53,000 before the loan was paid off I was looking at starting to put major money into it. My recommendation: Do Not Buy a Korean Car...

Horribly underestimated car
Source: MSN Autos

...Runs beautifully...an unexpected and good choice for me. Cons: Minor things. The CD player needs to be tuned up, but they can't recommend a place to go (since they don't service that). The seatbeat stuck after a while (50k) and oozed black goo. Replaced it and works better than when I first got the car (new). Headlights can be a bit brighter. Overall: Too bad about the bankruptcy. I lend out my car frequently to various friends and have had a good number of passengers in my car, they marvel as to how luxurious the car is and nice it is to drive. They always have a hard time remembering the...

The Price was Right
Source: MSN Autos

...Pros: I purchased this vehicle because it provided luxury accomodations for a low price.
Cons: Can be expensive to maintain because of replacing parts and repairs and service. Overall: Great car for the money, but not worth the maintenance...

Daewoo Leganza 99
Source: MSN Autos

...Pros: styling and features for the dollar are great.
Loaded with everything I wanted except for cd player which I added myself for a little less than stock.
Roomy, comfortable, lots of extras for not a lot of extra money...very attractive car...lots of positive comments...
Cons: Only the fact that Daewoo bailed out of their end in this country... Overall: Very happy with the car...wish Daewoo was still making them...would have considered a new one...

Good with a few exceptions
Source: MSN Autos

...Pros: Looks very nice, rides well and is a fun car to drive.
Cons: The trouble with the engine and trying to find parts to fix it.
Overall: The vehicle has been good. The only problems is that I have taken it to many mechanics and they cant fix the engine light problem.
Also considering that GM has bought Daewoo and they are still in the process of considering what to do with this line of vehicles the parts are hard to find...

The Nice Looking Lemon
Source: MSN Autos

...$34.80 for the part and $200.00 for the diagnotics WHAT A RIPOFF!!) The brakes needed replacement at 15,000 miles. Parts are difficult to obtain, and the paint job is not so good. Overall: Although the car is not so bad, owning one at this time is not so good. I've had 3 family members purchase a Daewoo Leganza after they saw mine. I wish that I could have convinced them not to. I (we) am stuck with a lemon that no car dealer will touch. If some company would bail them out and make service and parts more accessible in the US, it may not be so bad to own this car. Otherwise, it will continue...

A good ride
Source: MSN Autos

...Pros: A great value for the money. More "standard options" than anything in its class.
Good looks, good handling and ride- all around good vehicle.
Cons: Problems with check engine light- comes on intermittently for no reason.
Also problems with parking interlock in gear shift- gets hung up.
Overall: Overall, good all around car. Have not had parts availability problems so far, but value is down to nothing.
Would buy another- looking at the Suzuki Verona, which is the same vehicle by Daewoo with updates from GM...
