FORD QUALITY IS NOT JOB #1Source: MSN Autos...Fuel gage, radio, speakers, and casette player work ocassionaly. Front end wanders alot even after alignment, balance etc.. Seems to use more fuel than my previous Plymouth Grand Caravan. Fit and finish poor. Passenger side door can't be adjusted flush and missing seam selant in rear hatch area alowed water into interior when it rained. Overall: I am not happy with the overall quality and the poor directional stability at highay speed. Very tiring to drive on extended trips. I am glad I purchased extended warranty but hope to sell it before it expires. I have owned a Dodge and Plymouth... |

The Minivan w/Maximum AppealSource: MSN Autos...There are little storage areas placed throughout and the rear seatbacks become little vinyl trays with cupholders when tipped forward. Great for the kids. The rear controls for heat/air/stereo are very useful. I also really enjoy the digital compass and thermometer in the driver's view since I do a lot of finding addresses as a Realtor. Excellent vehicle! And the gas mileage is impressive too. About 23/24 mpg around town. Cons: Haven't found anything I don't like yet. Overall: I would highly recommend this vehicle for it's beauty, convenience, comfort and value. B+ OverallSource: CarGurus...the wiper fluid pump (if different from the wiper motor) has stopped working, the rear wiper fluid has always worked intermittently, the electrical issues I have with rear vent/AC fan, overhead lights and power door in rear all seem related due to wires being wet under carpet on driver and passenger side. Minor pet peeves are the headlamp lenses being frosty and old, ashtray broke from the track a while back, the driver side door mirror is broke and I had to replace the rear view mirror that finally fell off. I generally haul a pop up camper during the season and it hauls great with the tow... |
