..."What is it ! !!! a car? truck? Suv? Crossover? No it's Super Traverse
!!! to save the day Great gas 16+ per gallon at 45 the 6 gear kicks in and stop the old jack rabbit start and stop at stop lights.
On eway 23 at 65 per hr. must have's dual sun roofs the front one goes into the roof not outside like others and is very quiet (no wind noise) get the FACTORY tow package(pre-wired plugs ,
hitch, heavy duty cooling, tow haul transmission). If you get and aftermarket towing goes down to 4
,000's ? instead of the 5,600 If you can afford it get Nav cause the back up camera image is...

Traversing in the Traverse
Source: MSN Autos

...It is a very quiet ride. Recently, I've driven it on sheets of ice and while other cars, including Jeeps, and Toyota Highlanders were sliding, my Traverse handled it so well. I had to remind myself that I was on ice and take it slow. I'd recommend this SUV to anyone. Cons: We didn't get all the works and there are times I wish I had gotten the rear tail gate lift or bucket seats but then again, I can seat eight without the buckets and my triceps need work anyhow. Overall: Love the Traverse. My kids love the ride in the back seat too and when needed, I can fit six kids in back. The seats are...

I could kick myself...

..."I should have known better than to buy a Chevy. Don't get me wrong, I really like the Traverse - roomy, great features, drives well (turning radius not tight though).
However, I've had it in the shop two times, once for a smash and grab of my built in nav system and once for an accident.
Both times the shop had my car for weeks due to Chevy's inability to provide parts in a timely fashion.
They may be marketing these cars, but don't count on them being able to service them as promised. Steer clear."...

Wish I hit reverse before buying Traverse
Source: Edmunds

...I have been into the dealership 13 times in the past 2 months...nothing but issues with engine and powersteering.
Was happy with car but this has thrown me over the edge. Do not feel comfortable driving my family of six in this vehicle. I would not recommend this vehicle to anyone. BEWARE...

Great truck, great ride!
Source: MSN Autos

...Pros: For it's size it gets good mpgs. Handles extremely well.
It's ability to manuver quickly and responsively probably saved my family from serious injury in a collison.
I know it's solid construction did. Cons: I can't afford it. the one I drove was a rental. Overall: Great truck, great ride. (I've driven many.) Definately no. 1 in my book...

The Best All Sports SUV
Source: MSN Autos

...Front seats are very supportive--three long trips and not one complaint. Love the bluetooth for hands free cell phone use--soon to be a law in our state. Cons: None yet! Overall: Very pleased with the vehicle--8000 miles. Handles all driving conditions--rain, snow and muddy two tracks. The rear suspension handles gravel roads like its glued down--much better than my rigid rear axle truck. Would tell anyone looking for a vehicle that needs room for outdoor activities and towing capabilities (3000lb trailer with no problems) that this is the vehicle for them...

Why should I also consider these?

If you're considering the 2009 Chevrolet Traverse, you're probably shopping for room along with some cargo-carrying capabilities.

This crossover offers both.

Alternatives span a wide range, including full-size SUVs, mid-size SUVs, and other crossovers.

2009 Chevrolet Tahoe
For those who need to get work done, but with some style and comfort, practicality still reigns in the 2009 Chevrolet Tahoe.

2009 Ford Flex
The 2009 Ford Flex is one of the most stylish new crossovers, with great passenger room and more features than some minivans.

2009 Honda Pilot
The 2009 Honda Pilot looks more SUV-like in its second edition, but it has the room of a minivan, along with some notable styling miscues and expensive choices to make from the options list.

2008 Ford Explorer
As the perennial best-selling truck-based SUV, the Ford Explorer is still the one to beat.

2008 Jeep Commander
The 2008 Jeep Commander is good Jeep (a trail-capable vehicle), but it's not a great people mover.
