Once upon a Suburban...Source: Cars.com...This one is a lot more modern, comfort-wise and feature-wise. I really enjoy hearing clients complimenting on the smooth and comfortable ride. When facing off against the two full-size SUV imports, a properly equipped 2009 Chevrolet Suburban can tow five tons, besting the Toyota Sequoia and Nissan Armada in this important category.
Other options include the Ford Expedition and the Lincoln Navigator.
The most serious competitor is the Expedition.
In particular, the Ford Expedition EL (extended length) offers some useful features and trim styles the Chevy Suburban doesn't, and it arguably has an even better ride with just a light passenger load.
