Looks good but the quality needs a lot of work.

...Pros: I love the room with having 4 kids and the safety.
Cons: not enough storage compartments. Overall: We
bought the vehicle used and have had some minor problems. Our
first trip the battery died and later found out there
was some sort of charging problem. The transmission
went out at 50000 miles. The rear defrost doesn't work. The xm radio had to be replaced and the interier is slowly falling apart.Wished I bought a Toyota...

Not in it for the long haul
Source: Cars.com

...Well, until we started with excessive oil consumption around 65,000 miles. Here we are 3 years later and no one has been able to give us any insight as to what the problem is. After doing some online research, we have found that there is a huge problem with this excessive oil consumption among 07-08 Suburbans and it seems to be caused by the active fuel management feature, which shuts down 4 cylinders when the power is not needed to save on fuel. Great idea, poor design. In short, the rings, pistons, lifters, and valves are shot. Many owners have replaced these items or had it done under...

Watch out!!!
Source: Cars.com

..."I absolutely love our Suburban. We as a family of six have gone through the mini van thing.
My kids are very actively involved in sports so we needed to upgrade to a bigger vehicle.
I also got tired of pulling our large pop-up camper
behind our grocery getters. The only problem I have found along with other people is that GM has put in an awful lot of poor quality transmission cooling lines.
My vehicle was purchased as a used vehicle with 50,000 miles on it and it needs to have those replaced already. Come on GM, step up and make the recall."...

one of my favorite trucks that i've owned
Source: Cars.com

..."while trucks this big are usually awkward in town, i found this one to be supriseingly nimble and city friendly.
out in the country it displays a go anywhere attitude and plenty of toughness.
the dash control are within easy reach and the gauges are clear and easy to read.
the rear heater is also a nice addition on cold mornings.
with the 6.2L diesel there is no lack of pulling power with a loaded trailer.
with third row seating and plenty of tow ability, this truck is great for a day at the lake, or grocery getting and even road trips."...

Worst GM Product I have ever owned
Source: Cars.com

...Numerous electrical issues with this vehicle since 2100 miles. Cannot place in auto 4WD without slippage like my 2004 Suburban. Used to have delay lock feature on my remote until a program update on the computer and then told that the 2007 never had this feature, only worked by using the lock button on the door. Easy exit feature also doesn't drop the seat anymore after the program update either. Explanation is that the 2007 never did it, but it did. Fuel mileage is NOWHERE near what the sticker stated. The 2008 Tahoe Hybrid is an overpriced laughingstock and it sounds like Ford's upcoming...

AVery Desirable Truck
Source: MSN Autos

...Pros: The braking on this truck is very precise. I owned a 1999 Suburban before this, the improvements made on this vehicle,
versus the suburban are 10 times better. The new engine design is very well thought-out.
Plenty of power to move this truck. The fit and finish, paint,is excellent.
Cons: Nothing! Overall: I have 1600 miles on the truck ,The climate control is very good. the vehicle is very well engineered, and laid out...

A Beast of a Suburban
Source: MSN Autos

...Pros: This car probably pulls better than my '06 GMC Sierra, it's strength cannot be matched.
It's appearance is good, it lookslike something the government would use; in fact, I think they actually DID pre-own my car.
Cons: A little while back, there was a problem with the transmission, a piston inside of it wasn't welded correctly.
As I went to pull out onto the road, I heard what sounded like the transmission falling out of the car.
Somehow, it would still go (in Drive) until I needed to leave my job late that night. It's fine now, though. Overall: All in all, it's a...

American made family vehicle
Source: MSN Autos

...Pros: We LOVE this vehicle. Bought a 2007 with low mileage and traded in our Toyota minivan ...
more space for our family of 6, great ride, dependability, American-made, and so much more. Highly recommend! Cons: better gas mileage. Overall: Excellent family vehicle...
