Little Red

...For a four-cylinder, it really has nice pickup. The air condition is really cold. Easy to change the oil and filter. The interior is cozy and functional. Cons: I really can't complain a whole lot here, but there are a couple of things Chevy should change (and they may have in the later models). One, the bucket seats do not adjust to recline in the least. My back had major troubles with it at first. And, two, when you turn the a/c on, the engine performance takes a hit. Nothing drastic, but you can definitely tell the difference. Overall: Almost perfect...

The Ultimate Truck
Source: MSN Autos

...Pros: I like the way it looks Cons: I think that it has too many rattles, and the handle that moves the seat (to recline)breaks very easily Overall: I would buy another one...

Luv this Truck
Source: MSN Autos

...Pros: Love the grunt of the 4.3 V6 and the solid feel of the Increased Capacity Chassis Package.
My trade-in was a 97 ext. cab 2wd 2.2L, no comparison!
Love my truck. Cons: Gas milage and the 4 speed automatic can't seem to make up it's mind on uphills. Overall: Puts a smile on my face either driving or just looking at it...

Not as Good As it Was
Source: MSN Autos

...(At least this was covered by warranty after much complaining and screaming the dealer finaly found the cause of the Oil leaks). With all the complaints about seat backs I do not mess with the reclining feature for fear of breaking the handles. Overall: Fit and finish while still passable has gone down hill. the 99 with V6 and auto does good to get 21mpg on hwy, my 97 with same engine and trans got 25 with AC and 27 mpg with no Air. and 21mpg while pulling my 1400lb boat. all with only one trip back to the dealer for a bad belt idler. I put 125k on the 97 without any rattles and no maint...

very nice truck

...Pros: It is capable to do work, but feels very playful when driveing it. Cons: The same gas milage as a full size truck. Overall: Nice truck. Third door seems hard to open. But love the zr2 package...

good truck, be careful of seat handles
Source: MSN Autos

...I have a standard cab, so it's not like i used the handle but 3 times, and both of them broke after about 2 years. GM dosen't care. If your under warranty, cool. if not, sorry. My dad works for GM, and its something that they are fully aware of, but just don't give a darn to fix. There should be a recall on this, but i dont think it's much of a saftey issue, just cheap material. once it shears off at the lightest touch, you will see what i am talking about ! Overall: besides my rant about the very poor designed handles, overall a great truck. Will I buy another Chevy anytime soon? probably...

Mean little machine
Source: MSN Autos

...Pros: really good gas mileage, i can go to and from work for two weeks, on one tank of gas, and with today's high fuel prices, it is a really nice break.
Overall: I really like the truck, it is stylish, and rides nice for a small truck...

My Teenage Daughter Loves It
Source: MSN Autos

...Pros: Incredible drivetrain, great power. Even in the automatic you'll smoke the tires on my ZR-2.
My teenage daughter though it was the coolest truck on the road.
I'm 6'1", 285 lbs and it still fits me comfortably.
Cons: after numerous front end alignments, still front tire wear.
Overall: Best vehicle I ever owned. I would have bought out the lease if GM's buyout price wasn't $2000 over value. (they priced their lease too cheaply) Their loss not mine, I just got another one...

Great little ZR2!
Source: MSN Autos

...Pros: Fun to drive and powerful to boot! Cons: Rear suspension a little soft.
Sort-of poor gas mileage. Overall: Would recommend this truck but only the extended cab version. I also would recommend the K&N Generation II air filter system. Great upgrade...
