A Very Good Purchase
Source: Edmunds

...Bought this vehicle after considerable research. My decision came down to the Audi Q5 3.2 or Eq Sport.
I like/ own Audis, although now overpriced. Very similar power, comparable handling, interior room, and amenities.
Obviously, big difference in cachet, resale value and sticker price.
Athough there are many choices in this vehicle class, these two stood out for handling and performance, without going to a Porsche or BWM (way overpriced/valued).
After driving for 27 months/36000 miles, this was a great choice.
Other than minor issues with bluetooth, this has been a...

Suitable for a small family
Source: MSN Autos

...The handling is sharp, and braking is very precise to avoid an accident. Navigation is excellent. Lower acceleration speed on streets, but has a great giddy up on the on ramps. Cons: The front could look alittle more appealing. It may not accelerate as fast as would be appreciated, but why would you need to go fast somewhere unless you made it your fault for making yourself late. Overall: Overall I love this car. Love it way much more than the Equinox I had. I only have 4500 miles on it, but I love the fact that it is from a reliable company and that I know I will have it for much longer than...

loaded LT AWD
Source: MSN Autos

...CD player only lasted a few years and because of the disign it cost a small fortune to replace. Sometimes takes a few extra seconds to start or may run funny for a few seconds after start up. This usualy onlyn happens in hot weather. I had my dealer check it out and was told that Equinoxes just do that sometimes and not to worry about it. the AWD system works good in the snow but makes a noise like a thrashing machine at the rear axle. Once agian the dealer and the owners manual say this is completely normal. Overall: Overall we have been happy with are Equinox. Its a good family SUV with...

Crappy Equinox
Source: CarGurus

...i dont really care for chevy, and this doesnt help.
this equinox has got to be the cheapest vehicle i have ever seen.
the doors leak air in through the handle, it has ok performance, but my old ram was wayyy better. if my old truck didnt need so many repairs, i would never have gotten this cheap worthless vehicle...

Great Car!!
Source: Cars.com

..."This var was purchased new and it is great! The ride is very smooth and most of the time you don't even feel the bumps!
The engine is very quiet you have to check the tach to make sure it is still running! Also the back seats have tons of legs room and I really mean tons!!"...

reliable
Source: Cars.com

...!!! I have to say I like the way the AWD handles compared to the 2WD.It snowed about 3 to 4 inch while we were at the sale and the equinox handled great in the snow.Alot of people say the 3.4 isnt powerful in them but I have to say you have to watch your speed.I have a 2000 Grand Am with the 3.4 and it is a power house and gets great fuel mileage.I havent checked the Equinox mileage yet but it seem to do good just by gauge on a 215 mile trip home, from full to about 3/4 tank left.I would recommend this vehicle to anyone who is looking for a Sporty SUV.""...

Equinox that never delivered
Source: MSN Autos

...Changed a block heater cord and now it works. Rear cup holder broke because it is so flimsy and my daughter forgot to push it in. Overall: Too many problems to list. I too have trouble with the E-brake being interfered with by the cupholders and the rear doors and rear window get filled with rain, dust, snow, and anything else. The last time I checked, no deflector or running boards have been created for this vehicle. I check monthly and hope to find something soon because the rear door is getting chipped from stones and is always covered in dirt. If I had known about some of these problems...

2006 Chevy Equinox LT
Source: MSN Autos

...Pros: I like how the car is very very roomy, and yet handles like a sport car.
Lots of power under the hood, 4wd setting for my LT and Traction Control override, so you can pretty much drive in all kinds of weather and terrain worry free.
Great mileage for using it everyday, and no problems yet.
Cons: None yet. Overall: Great car... kinda pricey, but is built to last...
fast, clean, smooth, lots of features, XM capable... lots of cargo space, fold down flat backseats, lots of powerports, hidden spare tire in trunk, roof rack included...

Great CUV
Source: Cars.com

..."I have the Sport model, V-6 265 hp, AWD. Great performance and features.
Good sound system and lots of room. I tow my boat with it.
Very versatile vehicle. I have owned the Equinox for three years and it has never been to the shop.
I love the six speed tranny. It does well in the snow.
It has a bluetooth, satelite radio, heated seats and mirrors, sport suspension, sun roof, rear defogger, adjustable rear seat, that folds down. Ireally love this vehicle."...

GM WON'T ADMIT TO ISSUES CONCERNING 2005 EQUINOX
Source: MSN Autos

...Pros: ROOMINESS, DID REALLY WELL IN SNOW Cons: HARD SEATS, REPAIR BILL,BLIND SPOT, Overall: JUST A WARNING TO ALL EQUINOX OWNERS, CHECK YOUR COOLANT OFTEN.
WE PURCHASED OUT EQUINOX NEW IN 2005, HAD IT TO DEALERS SEVERAL TIMES DUE TO COOLANT EVAPORATING, DEALER CHANGED COOLANT HOSES, AND PUT FRESH ANTIFREEZE IN.
THE WARRANTY IS OVER AND I HAVE A $2000.00 REPAIR BILL, THE HEAD IS CRACKED, SO ALL THIS TIME THE ANTIFREEZE WAS LEAKING OUT.
DID RESEARCH ON THE INTERNET AND IT SEEMS LIKE GM KNEW THERE WERE ISSSUES CONCERNING THE COOLANT, AND DID A RECALL BUT RECALL WAS ONLY GOOD FOR...
