A Very Good PurchaseSource: Edmunds
...Bought this vehicle after considerable research. My decision came down to the Audi Q5 3.2 or Eq Sport. |

Suitable for a small familySource: MSN Autos...The handling is sharp, and braking is very precise to avoid an accident. Navigation is excellent. Lower acceleration speed on streets, but has a great giddy up on the on ramps. Cons: The front could look alittle more appealing. It may not accelerate as fast as would be appreciated, but why would you need to go fast somewhere unless you made it your fault for making yourself late. Overall: Overall I love this car. Love it way much more than the Equinox I had. I only have 4500 miles on it, but I love the fact that it is from a reliable company and that I know I will have it for much longer than... |

loaded LT AWDSource: MSN Autos...CD player only lasted a few years and because of the disign it cost a small fortune to replace. Sometimes takes a few extra seconds to start or may run funny for a few seconds after start up. This usualy onlyn happens in hot weather. I had my dealer check it out and was told that Equinoxes just do that sometimes and not to worry about it. the AWD system works good in the snow but makes a noise like a thrashing machine at the rear axle. Once agian the dealer and the owners manual say this is completely normal. Overall: Overall we have been happy with are Equinox. Its a good family SUV with... |

reliableSource: Cars.com...!!! I have to say I like the way the AWD handles compared to the 2WD.It snowed about 3 to 4 inch while we were at the sale and the equinox handled great in the snow.Alot of people say the 3.4 isnt powerful in them but I have to say you have to watch your speed.I have a 2000 Grand Am with the 3.4 and it is a power house and gets great fuel mileage.I havent checked the Equinox mileage yet but it seem to do good just by gauge on a 215 mile trip home, from full to about 3/4 tank left.I would recommend this vehicle to anyone who is looking for a Sporty SUV.""... |

Equinox that never deliveredSource: MSN Autos...Changed a block heater cord and now it works. Rear cup holder broke because it is so flimsy and my daughter forgot to push it in. Overall: Too many problems to list. I too have trouble with the E-brake being interfered with by the cupholders and the rear doors and rear window get filled with rain, dust, snow, and anything else. The last time I checked, no deflector or running boards have been created for this vehicle. I check monthly and hope to find something soon because the rear door is getting chipped from stones and is always covered in dirt. If I had known about some of these problems... |
