Legend, the ultimate nameSource: MSN Autos...has good acceleration and braking, has been amazingly trouble free, is comfortable and has a very nice sound system (even does great with pipe organ music). Cons: I would like quicker down shifts when it is necessary to stomp on the throttle for some quick acceleration when already underway. Overall: Great car. Why did Honda ever drop the name "Legend"; what a great name. Who cared if every owner said "I drive a Legend" instead of "I drive an Acura". GM will never build a car like this again.Source: Cars.com...Passing and merging are very easy. The only thing I can complain about is the placement of the seat heaters (on the side of the front seats). It makes it difficult to turn sideways to get out of the car without putting pressure on the controls. Also, there are no radio/climate controls on the steering wheel or A/C/heat vents for the reat passengers. Strange, since they were standard on the 1996 Sedan Deville. It also seems like the 96 Deville has more front legroom, but even so I doubt anyone of any height could possibly be uncomfortable in the front seats of this car. Overall, this is a... |

Fastest Car I've Ever Owned!Source: Cars.com...On the hiways at legal speeds above 180 MPH (honest) several Ferraris, Porsches, M3s, M5s, Jaguars, Mercedes AMGs and even some serious bikes found out the hard way that my C5 is really fast! It has only 27,000 miles on it now and it glistens like new and turned heads in at least 10 countries and still gets looks in the USA! No one easily beats a Chevrolet Corvette...trust me...this 65 year old man has owned and driven some of the best cars made worldwide and this is the best! A true GT Sports Car!!!Source: Cars.com...a world class sports car, relatively inexpensive for what you get compared to other cars in this class, a true value for the money, HUD , excellent iconic styling, low, sleek, wide. Why should I also consider these?
While it may have several formidable rivals, the Corvette’s prime nemesis remains the Dodge Viper.
The Dodge now boasts an 8.4-liter V-10 engine pumping out an even 600 horsepower as its sole powertrain option and is humbled only by the ZR1.
Nissan’s GT-R also shows that it has what it takes to topple the Corvette, even approaching the ZR1 in performance.
Combined with its all-wheel-drive system and sophisticated electronics, the 480-horsepower Nissan proves itself worthy on more than one count.
The next closest competitor to the Corvette would have to be the Porsche 911.
With its range of models (rear- and all-wheel drive, naturally aspirated, and turbo powered), the German icon offers more choice and arguably more refinement than the American, though at a significant cost.
While the Porsche Boxster lines up nicely against the base Corvette, its six-cylinder engine is no match for the Chevy’s muscular V-8.
The same goes for Nissan’s 370Z, although the sound from the Z’s tailpipes may persuade even the most loyal of ‘Vette fans.
