Great toy!!

..."This is a great "toy" for the person who does not want a corvette or "midlife crisis" car but wants to enjoy driving under the radar.
Very little people know what this car is and have not seen one which makes it even better. The car runs great and has plenty of HP without breaking the bank."...

Worth The Money, Contemporary Classic
Source: CarGurus

...If you are looking for a track car this is not it. But if you need a fast,
comfortable, luxurious and competent grand tourer that you can drive all day long for hundreds of miles without any fatigue, this Caddy is my first choice.
Plus, it has amazing gas mileage for the performance it offers.
On a recent 600+ mile trip keeping it at 80mph returned 27.7mpg with the AC on. The XLR will be discontinued after the 2009 model year so get one while they last...

Why should I also consider these?

The Jaguar XK, BMW 6-Series, and Porsche 911 all offer 2+2 seating, as well as canvas convertible tops.

The Mercedes-Benz SL-Class remains the benchmark for this class of vehicle.

It may not be the fastest or most engaging to drive, but it does lots of things well, including offering numerous technology options and an opulent interior feel, along with a great retractable hardtop design that somehow doesn’t steal as much of the trunk space.

Plus, Mercedes-Benz earns its stripes along the way, and the current SL-Class cars prove it.

The Lexus SC430 is another alternative for wind-in-hair fans who still want to be cosseted, but its design is nearly a decade old and will soon be replaced.

2009 Mercedes-Benz SL Class
The SL’s new look isn’t to everyone’s liking, but in AMG guise, it’s now more punch than paunch—and a worthy stealth Ferrari-chaser.

2008 BMW 6-Series
The 2008 BMW 6-Series is overwrought and overstocked with technology that distracts even from the M6’s heroic performance.

2008 Lexus SC 430
The 2008 Lexus SC 430 offers a unique shape, a folding hardtop, and the Lexus experience, but the "bathtub" look is a major drawback in a class of beautiful convertibles.
