Great Roadster
Source: MSN Autos

...Pros: Great combination of luxury and performance. Absolutely gorgeous with the top down.
Cons: Wish larger tires came as an option. Just seem a little skimpy for this type of vehicle. Overall: I went from an STS to XLR in less then year and happy for it...

A sports car for the middle aged looking for something different.
Source: MSN Autos

...Pros: It does tend to turn heads. On a test drive some teens stuck their heads out the window and gawked a bit before shouting "cool car
!" The car is what you would expect in a $77,000 sports car.
Very classy interior, nice heads up display, good acceleration and cornering.
Cons: The top wouldn't lock into the trunk when we put it down initially.
Then it wouldn't come back up after we got back to the dealer.
I'd say the electronics or fit might need some work. Overall: I preferred the new Corvette which gave a bigger thrill when I punched it. Styling is interesting...

Gentlemen's Sports car!

...Pros: It turns heads, and it drives like a dream. Best car I ever owned. Cons: Not enough places to put stuff inside cockpit. Overall: Sold my MB SL for this car....the XLR is far better!...

Ladies dream car
Source: MSN Autos

...Pros: This is anyone's dream car. I looked for two
years and was on the verge of buying a BMW but my father believes buying American is important and now I am so glad that I waited and support our manufacturers and American's jobs.
This car is awesome. Cons: The price Overall: Having always had convertibles, this is dynamite no more new canvas tops.
It is one beautiful ride. In fact, I'll probably always have Cadillacs from now on...

The Ultimate in Class!
Source: MSN Autos

...The truck, while small with the top down, is huge with it up. We managed to travel cross country with the truck ready to accept the top with our things and two computers and, with careful packing did fine. We love the XLR? Great acceleration, braking and handling. Real class! Cons: We have no dislikes. Overall: We love it! No problems, lots of acclaim and constantly getting thumbs up on the road. While not the mini sportscar that attract some, this is a truly classy vehicle. Performance is wonderful. What a huge step up from a BMW (other than the 740IL we have had a 2002 and a 325i...

Excellent Alternative to Porsche 911 & Mecr SL500
Source: Cars.com

...Power and acceleration were fantastic and if you like the old, deep, throaty sounds of power, step on the pedal of this baby! Seats were comfortable and supportive (heat felt good). The heads-up display kept me informed of my progressively increasing speed without distraction. Suspension felt firm but a little road-feel was missing. The auto handled bumps and uneven roading well as the fluid based suspenion system grabbed the movements and cushioned the cockpit and passenger from the feel. Instruments were intelligently placed and easy to use on the first try. Overall, an excellent display of...
