STS time warpSource: MSN Autos...Front drivers leg room is cramped on a trip. The heat off the windshield area is terrible. The dash heats up and radiates back into your face. The front seats are the worst of any car that I have owned since 1960. Terribly uncomfortable on a trip. The car should have cooled seats as standard. The paint is cheap to say the least. It scratches just looking at it. The trunk lid should have an automatic pulldown. Overall: On a trip, the seats were a killer, along with the cramped leg room. For a car to go to the local shopping center, it is great, as long as you park in the outer 40. The paint... |

The car looks cool, but thats about it!Source: Cars.com...It is an 07 STS4 V8. I thought it looked cool and had nice features, which it does, but it would have been nice to know that the reliability was as bad as it gets. I have just 35,000 miles and already have had issues with it. I have already had to replace the transmission at 25,000 miles, and it is in the shop again. The Navigation unit is terrible and has actually told me to go strait when there was no road left there. The gas mileage stinks, and it doesn't even handle well compared to Benz E class, BMW 5 series, Audi A6, Infiniti M series, Lexus GS, or Acura RL. All it does better than is... |

An honest review.Source: MSN Autos...AWD V6 is good on level roads but lags on hills. Mileage is close to an SUV, Visibility is poor. Complicated electronics. Expensive repairs. A $50k STS looks like a $30k CTS? Traction control is far too sensitive in snow & can shut down power to all 4 wheels when 1 wheel slips -dangerous! Michehlin Energy tires wear quickly. Cheap plastic dash covering. The optional zebrano wood trim is real but doesn't look it. Uncomfortable rear seats. Overall: A good car to impress the neighbors. With a V8, it has more power & drives like a smaller car, but a V8 requires premium gas & costs $10k more... |
