Performance Package at a Value Price
Source: Edmunds

...I have owned a number of Cadillac STS's and generallly partial to GM products.
However, a new STS with the performance trim list was in excess of $60k and the DTS similarly equiped was $50+k.
The CXS was priced just under $37k. It has the all the equipment: Northstar, stabilatrack, magnetic ride control, variable raitio steering, 18 inch wheels and more.
I enjoy driving this car. It has ample accelelation and corners well for a large car with plenty of room in the back seat as well as the front.
The leather seats and wood trim rival both the domestic and foreign...

,good handling every day driver.Docile in traffic and
comfortable on uhe road Drove the Benz E55 and chose
the Caddy/Very happy with my choice/as a bonus when driven on the road under 75MPH I am gettung over 21MPG/The headliner does not match the otherwise first class interior"...

1999 STS
Source: Cars.com

..."I am driving this top of the line model from Cadillac for a half a year now and I am loving it...
Since I purchased great performance tires, my STS handles no worse than BMW 740,
drives fast and is really smooth and comfortable.Reliability for 1999 STS is average as rated by Consumer Reports which is better than newer and older models,
and I haven't had any problems so far either.Another great feature of this 300HP luxury vehicle is the highway mileage,
which averages 27-28 MPG driving up to 70 mph, which is better than some V6 models. The best thing I love about my STS is...

Excellent Luxury Car
Source: Cars.com

...I don't like that in order to access the driver memory system, you have to go through the navi system to get there. This is not as easy as some cadillac models. They have a button on the door...very easy. This fully loaded vehicle does not have some of the basic options, features that the deville has...for example, tilting side view mirror, auto trunk release, close, auto gas door, auto brake release when in reverse. I actually miss these features and have to get used to not having them on this $70,000 cadillac. This STS rides like a caddy, drives like a caddy, performs like a caddy. Overall...

Why Would You Want BMW or Benz?
Source: Cars.com

..."This is probably the most comfortable car I have ever owned.
The ride is superb. The V-6 has all the power I need when merging onto freeways and the hiway milage is terrific.
Averaged 28 mpg @ 70 MPH on recent trip. Cadillac did it right this time.Dealer service is poor, but that is not the cars fault."...

The New Seville renamed STS
Source: MSN Autos

...Pros: Impressive handling and acceleration even with the V6.
Remote start and hands-free key-system is awesome.
Excellent crash ratings and noteworthy reliability Cons: For being a "Cadillac" and the price consumer's pay,
it should include the options as standard equipment (i.e., Navigation system,heated/air conditioned seats, moon roof, memory seats and tire pressure indicator.
The only option should be whether you wish a V6 or V8 Overall: Excellent choice for anyone, even the gas mileage is impressive for the size and weight of the STS...

Comfortable and Relaxing Car
Source: MSN Autos

...Pros: Rides like a beauty, very relaxing and comfortable, Lots of leg room.
I like the keyless start button, remote start, heated steering wheel, heated backseats, and front seats are heated and cooling.
ALL very nice! Cons: Wish the glove box were larger, The armrest is hard to get into and too deep to find anything.
At least its a little better than the CTS I had. Wish I could have the DVD player on while driving for my passengers.
Overall: Wish OnStar and XM Radio wasn't something I have to keep paying to renew.
Had the best salesperson, Glenda at Cadillac of Las...
