Wonderful Homegrown LuxurySource: MSN Autos...I have a CXS and the ride is like floating on a cloud. The steering and handling is as effortless as riding a bicycle. I am 6'4" and the roomy interior matches any other luxury car on the market; especially those that cost more than twice what I paid for my LaCross. I traded in a 2007 Avalon for the LaCross, and every time I drive it I am elated that I made the choice. My highway driving thus far has been a limited but with about 1200 miles already, I am very pleased with the 18+ mpg I get in city driving. This car is great and it's gorgeous (head turning quotient 10+). Cons: NONE Overall:... |

...Pros: The overall exterior style is "head turning" and the interior is spacious and well appointed. |

Buick the Super CarSource: MSN Autos...The safety features that went into that car saved my life and left me uninjured. Insurance totaled my car and as soon as I got my check from the insurance company...I went right back out and picked out another Buick Lacrosse CXL. Thank you for putting in the level of safety equipment that you do. Cons: The only problem that I would see is that unless you are tall it can be hard to look over your shoulder when backing up. Don't worry though the sensors let you know when you are getting close to something. Overall: My last 3 cars were Buicks and when it is time for a new one it too will be a... |

Buicks Best YetSource: MSN Autos...I bought the nearly fully equipped model. Don't buy the high priced imports untill you test drive this one. Everything is great except as I will note in the Cons section. I'm glad the brought back the Heads Up Display. More information is now provided on the HUD then on previous models. Cons: Driver seat memory is a little more complicated to operate. Earlier Buicks had one touch memory. Now you have to hold the button down. Memory buttons are now located at the side of the seat and hard to locate, where as before they were on the door panel. Rain sensing whipers are no longer available. My... |

Lexus ConvertSource: MSN Autos...OnStar, well, if you've never had it, you don't know what your missing. But the deciding factor for my purchase was the huge amount of space for back seat riders. I'd say the foot area behind the front seats is double what the GS or ES offer. Cons: The front C pillars are big. I understand they needed to be made this way to meet new federal roof standards but come on’.... Its a little over kill I think. The gas mileage is less than expected. On the flip side I don't need to use good stuff to fill it, it takes 87. Dealer experience left a lot to be desired. Not pushy, just not knowledgeable... |

The 2010 Buick LaCrosse sits in a no-man’s land of pricing, performance, and luxury specification, straddling the gap between high-end mainstream and entry-level luxury.
Like the LaCrosse, the Lexus ES offers ample room and a comfortable ride, but lacks some of the higher technology elements.
The Infiniti M sits a bit further up-market than the LaCrosse, but offers similar performance and equipment in the V-6 models.
Acura’s TL is another mid-luxury fence-sitter, offering many of the same advantages and disadvantages of the LaCrosse, but with a much younger, more abrasive styling direction.
The Hyundai Genesis, aside from being the 2009 North American Car of the Year, offers tremendous value and a similar size and feature list to the new LaCrosse.
