Good Enough To Get Rid Of My LexusSource: Cars.com...The interior layout is much nicer and seemingly higher quality than the Lexus, which by my comparison has a rather drab interior. My LaCrosse is very relaxing to drive, has plenty of room, and is overall a nicer vehicle to rack up miles in. Fuel millage is better than advertised too. I get about 18 in the city and 28 on the highway. Not bad considering mine is all wheel drive. I imagine a front drive model could reach at least 30. The backseat is much roomier than the Lexus and it is arguably just as quiet. One of the best improvements over the Lexus is the GPS. It is very intuitive and easy... |

Mixed bag but looks greatSource: Edmunds...It does have a little kick when it shifts automatic, but nothing horrible. Beautiful finishes and details. Middle Console not large and not user friendly. Too short, and if you extend, you can't use both cup holders. It's like no one at GM test drove for conveniences. Reliability to be determined. Only 2000 miles. Gas use (mostly city and heavy highway only 19.9 mpg). It's a very comfortable car, including large rear seat. You need rear park assist or camera for sure. GM almost has it right!... |

The 2010 Buick LaCrosse sits in a no-man’s land of pricing, performance, and luxury specification, straddling the gap between high-end mainstream and entry-level luxury.
Like the LaCrosse, the Lexus ES offers ample room and a comfortable ride, but lacks some of the higher technology elements.
The Infiniti M sits a bit further up-market than the LaCrosse, but offers similar performance and equipment in the V-6 models.
Acura’s TL is another mid-luxury fence-sitter, offering many of the same advantages and disadvantages of the LaCrosse, but with a much younger, more abrasive styling direction.
The Hyundai Genesis, aside from being the 2009 North American Car of the Year, offers tremendous value and a similar size and feature list to the new LaCrosse.
