Most fun car to drive
Source: Cars.com

..."Went to test drive th 5 series, as I walked past the car,
I asked the sales rep was this car was, he told me what it was,
and once I drove it, I had to have it even though it was totally different than the car I went to see, it was by far the most exciting car that I have driven in a long time"...

Luxury on a budget
Source: MSN Autos

...Pros: Very nice looking car, mine is black with beige leather interior.
Powerful engine, ample interior space and trunk. Cylinder-deactivation technology works well to save some gas.
Nice sound system, awkward at first but great when familiarized.
Cons: Both exhaust tips are gone already; no parking sensors; no bluetooth; a bit too expensive. Overall: Excelent ride - a big car comparable to c-class or 5-series...

The Best
Source: Cars.com

..."I bought my 528 preowned with 28K miles. At 70,000 miles I replaced brake pads, tires, etc which cost a bit, but these are reasonable wear and tear parts.
I think it is an excellent ride and had great style.
Once it is paid off I think it is still worth maintaining because of the basic quality and great ride it offers.
This car new can cost over $50 K, even if you spend a few grand every few years to maintain it is still less than a new car payment and you are driving a dynamic car."...

Just put 1700 miles on it in Europe

..."I've only driven it for 9 days - but love almost everything about it!
Expensive but the absolute best in driver seat comfort (20-way upgraded seats) and driving experience.HUD - absolutely awesome, esp.
w/NAV systemActive Cruise Control - almost a "must-have", works great even in stop&go traffic
!iDrive - much improved over previous years, voice
commands are great tooPower & handling - unrivalled except in cars costing >$100KWinter driving: plan to get snow tires if needed since no AWD available and 19" tires are low-profile"...

BMW 535i e34
Source: Cars.com

..."Great car, smooth acceleration, feels much smaller than one would expect.
I never thought any car larger than an e30 would please me, then I drove a 535i e34. Even with auto trans, it is a very fun, responsive car to enjoy."...

BMW 5 series w/ Honda emblems
Source: MSN Autos

...Pros: styling is awesome looks like a bmw 535, Features exceed that of 60k cars,
4 cylinder 190 h/p is really enough power however 6 cylinder is very fast w/ similar gas mileage, I prefered to put the extra 2k into the navi system.
Take it from me, I have owned alot of cars in my life from 20k to 60k and this car is no doubt under valued by honda.
Its a beamer w/out the labels. Brewster Honda is the place to go.They really want you to be happy.
I was very unhappy with Curry Honda. They are 100% profit driven.
Go for the ex-l at least. You will not be disappointed...

Nice Car !!
Source: Cars.com

..."I have owned my BMW 528i two years back. It has 85,000 miles and this car has been a dream to own and drive.
It has loads of safety features and drives like a car should drive.
It's a solid, responsive, road- hugging blast. The inline 6 is throaty and powerful although you won't be pinned to your seat like the V8 540i.
Love the leather seats, the electric telescope and tilt. Easy to maintain if you have any car knowledge...

2005 BMW 545i
Source: Cars.com

...I had myself, my wife, and my two kids and never felt pressured for room. The ride was comfortable, and the engine was perfect. Through the mountains the engine and car shined. It never felt as though it might get out of control. For the trip, we averaged 25.3 mpg on the freeway. The brakes and tires are still in good functioning order, but we are probably going to have them replaced prior to next winter.I strongly recommend this series, and I can only imagine the newer 550 is even better. This 545 was the third BMW purchase in a four year span. But, this is such a great car that we probably...

Why should I also consider these?

The 2008 BMW 5-Series's chief competitor, the E-Class, has more of an emphasis on comfort than the 5, with a roomier-feeling interior and a softer ride.

The A6 also feels a bit more spacious and comfort-oriented, but its performance--especially from the available 4.2-liter V-8--doesn't come close to matching that of the 550i's 4.8-liter V-8.

None of the competition offers a manual transmission either.

The Cadillac STS brings plenty of high-tech options and respectable performance, but it doesn't have the prestige of the 5-Series.

There's also the Infiniti M35 and M45, which bring brisk performance and some rival high-tech features such as a lane-departure system, but their cabins aren't as quiet and refined as those of the 5-Series models.

2008 Audi A6
The 2008 Audi A6 has plenty of competition, but its graceful look and feel set it apart from more brutal German and more clinical Japanese iron.

2009 Cadillac STS
The 2009 Cadillac STS isn’t a standout for looks, but you’ll appreciate the way it drives.
