Basic BMW
Source: Edmunds

...A bit of a step back (in a good way) from increasing bloat and luxury.
Perfectly matched power to size/weight built seemingly in the true "old-spirit" of the M-versions of BMW.
Never short on power and torque, nice exhaust growl, smooth manual transmission, powerful linear brakes, tight, firm suspension with incredible balance.
I-drive system, entertainment/phone, etc is excellent, easy to use and diminishes distractions while driving.
Front seats are very comfortable for 6ft plus, rear seats are perfect for smaller children when used without a booster, otherwise...

after one month, I love my car.

..."I traded in a 2003 525iT and I couldn't be happier. This thing is awesome, it is tight, handles great, gets fair gas mileage, stops on a dime, and it looks great."...

Mixed Bag -- But Still Love It
Source: Edmunds

...Have put ~6K on the car in just two months and have had no problems.
The 135i handles like a go-kart, has a silky smooth manual, is comfortable on long hauls, and oh, the sound of 300, 300 when the "go" pedal is mashed! MPG just about 23 overall...

Very nice little car
Source: Cars.com

..."I'll be honest, I was up until last year a dedicated and loyal Saturn owner.
I know it sounds a little funny now that the company has folded, but I had good luck with Saturns.
So, I might not be the most knowledgable about German autos.I've never driven anything that thrills me as much as this 128i.
It handles excellent, and has as much power as I'll ever need.
It has all the bells and whistles, and most come standard.
After driving it for almost a year, I can find very little room for change. The only thing I could reccomend as an improvement is to make the second...

LOVE my new Bimmer!
Source: Edmunds

...I picked up my car less than a week ago, and I can't stop smiling!
I ordered the car in Crimson red, with light beige interior, high gloss black trim, and a black convertible top. This is my 4th BMW, and it is the most fun to drive of any car I've ever had...

European Delivery
Source: Edmunds

...Italy and S. France. This car was made for this kind of driving; it couldn't have been more fun. If it were any bigger, I would have been even more terrified driving through Italy. The top is so easy to raise and lower we drove with it down every day we used the car. Even with the small engine, it didn't lack for pickup in the mountains. The 6 speed manual transmission was perfect. Seldom needed the brakes, except on the steepest downhills. Got admiring glances from most everyone. Now, if it is just half as good as the 1994 325 with 213,000 miles it replaced...

Solid Power from 1300rpm
Source: Cars.com

..."I moved from MCS to the 135i and it was the best decision I ever made.
I love this car more every day. I have snow shoed it for our MN winter and have had no problems so far.
I love the power delivery and the handling. It just hauls in any gear from 1300rpm.
You never have to look for a power band and change gear. It will rip your eyebrows off in any gear at any speed. The most uber car that will make you smile driving to work every day."...

Fun Little Car
Source: Cars.com

..."I bought my 135i a few weeks ago and I love it. You can't best the seven speed transmission (DCT) with the M package.
I traded my 911 for this and although it lacks the soul of a 911 it definitely satisfies my need for speed and handling. This is a very fun car to drive!"...
