Buy only if your richSource: Cars.com...It's super fun to drive and the styling is amazing. But...and it's a big but, the darn thing just falls apart! Everything fails! They have lots of known problems that audi refuses to acknowledge or fix. If anything goes out count on spending a minimum of $600-700. Literally 800 for a glovebox! If anything mechanical goes out just start crying cause it's gonna cost a few thousand to fix! Maintenance is no better, the parts for and oil change and front brakes set me back about $700. I love to drive this car! But I am no longer rich."... |

..."I have been driving "ultimate driving machine" for years, love them, but not really sure the move to all turbos is totally correct, and getting a manual transmission is getting more difficult. |

2008 Audi TT 3.2 Coupe QuattroSource: Cars.com...The car provides a surprising amount of interior room for such a small car. The coupe provides a fair amount of storage with the rear seats down, enough space for a weeks worth of groceries. Other coupes we lookeed at such as the Nissan 370Z did not have anywhere near the amount of room that this car provides. Two minor complaints. I am a small woman. With the seat in my position, it is hard for me to reach back and grab the seatbelt to put it on and the coffee cup holder is in an awkward position. My husband is 6 foot and has no problem with these issues that I have and finds the car very... |

Depending on how you see the 2012 Audi TT, its rivals can be either small luxury coupes and convertibles or true sports cars.
The Nissan 370Z cuts length to gain in style, handling, and ride quality, but it's still rough and noisy compared to the TT.
The Mercedes-Benz SLK has a folding hardtop, a technically interesting style, and a hot AMG performance edition, but the Audi TTS has a lighter, nimbler feel.
It's probably out of the question for badge snobs, but if a base Porsche Boxster is still too expensive, a fully optioned TTS still checks in below $50,000.
Also, for 2012, BMW is introducing a turbo four-cylinder version of its Z4 Roadster; while the current version of the Z4 feels like more of a grand tourer than an edgy sports car, the more economical engine also puts it back on the board as a TT rival.
