Cheap Transportation but Cheap InteriorSource: MSN Autos...Cons: I've owned for close to a year and the interior is not holding up well. Cloth seats are already showing wear with little more than 10,000 miles. Seats are very uncomfortable on long trips for a guy like me who is around 6 ft tall. No support for thighs. Good for around town, bad car for long trips. Overall: I don't regret buying this car, but can't recommend to someone who is a average-large person with long commutes. Seats are typical Civic, haven't improved in the 20 years I've owned these cars. Very reliable, cheap transportation... |

These cars were truly built to last!Source: MSN Autos...Airbags if triggered tear through the dash and steering wheel thus requiring a new steering wheel and dash, which gets very expensive. Overall: This car was defiantly a great achievement and benchmark in all categories for the time it was built. The looks and design are also great compared to other cars from the same time frame. Reliability is the strongest point, giving a very low cost to maintain this car. It is a fun car to drive with plenty of acceleration, road grip and feedback. Almost all major parts have with stood the test of time and still perform close to what they did a decade... |

Best Family Sedan I've EVER seen.Source: Cars.com...Very quick exeleration for a front wheel drive 4-door sedan. The V-6 model of the 1996 Chevrolet Corsica will go from 0-to-60 in around 5 seconds. That in my appinion is extremely good for a 3.1 liter V-6 front wheel drive sedan. It handles better than what you would ever think that a 4-door front wheel drive is suppost to handle. The only down side that I have seen about this car is when you put your foot in the gas hard an a wet road!! The tires WILL spin and keep on spinning faster untill you let off of the gas. And is also capable of spinning the tires when on dry pavement too if pushed... |
