09 Acura TSXSource: MSN Autos...The BMW 520 and the Audi A4 both lacked what seemed to be an overall refined quality, especially with the seats. I love the soft, smooth leather and the way the seats hug your sides and prevent you from sliding. My car is on its way to Germany, so I have yet to stretch its legs on the Autobahn. But, after driving the A4 and the 520 I can only imagine the experience. Cons: One engine size was disappointing to see. I think a turbo option, or even a Turbo Diesel option would increase Acura's sales on the TSX. Overall: Outstanding car. I love every aspect of the car... |

Perfect blend of fun and practicalitySource: MSN Autos...Again I hear that's being addressed in the 09 model. Overall: I purchased the first 04 TSX when it came out and loved it for all the reasons everyone else did. I had maybe 1 or 2 minor recalls, but the dealership took care of it and treated me great. I kept the car longer than I ever have kept a car and that was about 3 years. I got the itch for a car and ended up trading in my beautiful, reliable, and fun Midnight Black TSX for a fully loaded 07 Saab 2.0T. BIG mistake.... I had that car for 5 months and just took a bath on a trade last night because the market for Saab's is so soft. I'll... |

The Mary Poppins Car: practically perfect in every waySource: MSN Autos...The headlights are excellent once you get used to the sharp cutoff. Cons: Other than the annoying, overly complex controls for ac/heating, the car is virtually perfect. The contributors to missing a 10-rating are: styling> grille is too Saturn-like and wheels are too generic; performance> acceleration is adequate, but more HP would lead to excessive FWD torque steer; interior> driver seat cushion adjustment range is less than desired, and passenger seat adjustments are too limited. Overall: After owning two excellent Hondas (Prelude, then Accord), I thought I'd treat myself to an Acura. The... |

The Acura TSX is an Audi A4 killer for far less moneySource: MSN Autos...Reg runs fine and is much cheaper. I also use Regular in the Benz for 3 years and I used it in my Audi A6 for 3 years before that without a hiccup. Cons: Small rear seat but a pleasure otherwise. Overall: I could not rate this car higher. My MB E350 gets dismal mileage and that was why I looked else ware. I did not like the TL because I thought the seats were much too tight and uncomfortable. No rear sear room in that car either. The TSX is a keeper all the way. I made the right decision and the mileage is outstanding as is the performance on Regular gas. For anyone interested, putting... |

I'm sold on the 2009 TSXSource: MSN Autos...The front seats are very comfortable and the car has all the bells and whistles. I average over 30 MPG. It's easy to drive and feels solid. I can't ask for more. Cons: I haven't yet found any. Overall: Being Toyota people, we have never owned a Honda before. We ended up buying this car because it was the best deal. I really wanted a Lexus IS250, but the TSX has everything the IS does and was a lot less money. We are very happy with our decision. It is an excellent car... |

Sure beats my three Mercedes!!!Source: MSN Autos...It wasn't unusual for us to spend 2-3,000 dollars every few months to keep these cars running. We (my wife and I) decided that we needed a new car to replace my aging C220 (what a dog!!!). We test drove the Mercedes C300...it drove well, but its fuel economy was dismal and the Mercedes lack of reliability turned me off. The BMW back seat was meant for tiny children! When we saw photos of the new TSX, we decided to purchase it because of its styling, reliabiliy (it is a Honda afterall) and outstanding fuel economy... considering it is a "sporty car." We couldn't be happier with our purchase!!!... |

Best car ever!Source: MSN Autos...This is the best riding/driving car that I've had in a long time. Test drove MB c class and still had to have this car. No comparison! I also like, that even though it recommends premium, you can run this car on reg with no issues. You only lose about 1-2 horsepower by doing so. Lots of trunk space. Cons: backseat space is not as good as others, but pros outweigh this. Overall: I love this car! The seats are super comfy, and it handles so well on the road! Hard to beleive its a 4 cyl. It's my sporty mom-mobile!... |

Shoppers looking at the 2009 Acura TSX will probably be considering other front-wheel drive vehicles, and possibly all-wheel drive vehicles, but more expensive rear-wheel-drive sport sedans such as the BMW 3-Series and Lexus IS are likely above their budget and wants.
The Subaru Legacy GT has performance that rivals the TL, though its handling is a little more crisp and all-wheel drive makes it more all-weather-friendly.
The Legacy’s back seat is also tight.
However the Legacy isn’t as quiet and refined as the Acura.
The Nissan Maxima is another alternative; it’s not as feature-rich as the TSX, but it has a torquey V-6 engine that gives it scorching acceleration off the line.
The base, front-wheel-drive Audi A4 2.0T is also a worthy competitor, with similarly good fuel efficiency and edgier performance without a sacrifice in ride.
Versus any of these competitors, there’s another big selling point: Acura dealerships.
