Video: 2010 Chevrolet Camaro

Posted on Tuesday 18 March 2008

After months of static spy shots of the new Chevrolet Camaro we finally get a look of the car in motion thanks to this latest spy video of an undisguised test-mule. As the video reveals, the car’s proportions mate well with the road. The hunkered down look of the concept transferred almost perfectly to the production model. You can get all the details gathered so far in our previous story or check out the full video after the jump.

    Looks good.
I’m not sure if the headlights look right, too small, too futuristic maybe for a retro car?
    Love the tail lights.
So why a 2010? Looks ready to me…

    Gus,

The headlights are still pre-production. I have heard that they are still working on the final headlights. This has been on many message boards.

I can’t wait until I can drive one. And I am also with you, why 2010? This thing has been in development forever. Just start producing it already!

    Ah, I see.
Well, I look forward to seeing it soon. I know it will probably spank my new Mustang GT…

If all you’re looking for is numbers, then go for it.
If you want some style, however…

Looks good. I cant decide which one looks better- this one or Mustang.

Anyone knows when the new Mustang is coming out? Will it be completely new or just facelift?

raptor; the 2010 mustang is a facelift (although the spy pictures ive seen make it look like a really extensive face lift, not quite along the lines of the “new” focus compared to the old one, thought). also, expect the 4L v6 to be dropped for the 3.7L v6. much better engine all around. basically fords got a whole slew of new engines coming out and the 4, and 4.6L are some of the oldest engines in the industry. durable as hell though.

Joe; gus has said it about as plainly as possible. just figure out which one you like. but it must be said that the mustang is undoubtably one of fords best cars, and the genesis, well, it is a hyundai after all. i’m not saying that means that its crap, i’m saying that you may be in for a little bit of nervousness. If you’re leasing however, get which ever one you like.
