One of the most impressive advancements in technology has been the emergence of DSG gearboxes, which deliver the comfort of an auto with almost the same amount of fun as a manual. VW’s DSG was originally developed by US company BorgWarner (also notable for developing Variable Turbine Geometry as seen in the new 911 Turbo), and has been applied to various cars within the VW empire.
