Over the weekend we reported that an Aston Martin DBS used for filming in the latest James Bond flick, Quantum of Solace, ended up at the bottom of a lake in Italy after the driver, on route to the film set, lost control in rainy weather. We now have video footage of the car after it was extracted by authorities, which you can view after the jump. Pity there wasn’t a camera there to capture the action because it would have made for some very exciting footage.
Ouch! That amateur driver responsible for this must be punished
From the looks of that car, it’s amazing that the driver survived without serious injuries.
Not much survivable space under that collapsed roof. I’m surprised it didn’t hold up better, but who knows how hard it rolled and what it hit on the way down…

“lost control in the rain,” now who is dumb enough to believe that. Obviously the driver must have been pushing it, and drove ofthe road because he was going to fast. Modern day sports cars have all kinds of safety systems to prevent the car from “losing control”
actually if you read the news reports the driver was an aston martin engineer, and has probably driven more aston martins than most people, he was also being followed by some fiat thing, and they said he wasnt going fast, this is just a case of bad luck.
and of course News reports would never ever be accused of lying or withholding the information for a price !
