It was sold in extremely exclusive numbers to several important Ferrari customers, including Michael Schumacher, who are also given dedicated track time at Fiorano to help fine tune the cars and gather crucial feedback.
The latest iteration of the FXX, the Evolution Package, was released in October last year and featured an 860hp 6.2L V12 with a rev limit in excess of 10,000rpm.
The camouflage on this new prototype is covering the front aero section, hood and side sills, and is most likely concealing new aerodynamic enhancements. However, this is the first time that camouflage has been used on the FXX, which has led to suggestions that this is in fact the Enzo successor.

The fact that it's on public roads is what interests me most...
We might just be looking at an Enzo successor in an FXX jump-suit.
I can't wait for the "F70"...

So the point of car camo is to stop people from finding out what car you're testing. Then why does that one say FXX clearly on the back? If you're just going to splatter the name all over it why waste the money on the camo at all?

probably because everyone is familiar with the FXX. I agree witht he camo work on the front....if they wanted to do real world testing they should have just left it as is and utilise the shell of the FXX for the F70 underpinnings. Mind you the front air dam looks larger than the FXX and the bonnet scoop does as well...and seeign as the Tifosi are crazy about all things ferrari they would probably have noticed it straight away and taken pic and they would be splashed all over the web....at tleast this way it sets the rumour mill going as opposed to the set in stone information piece !

The Fxx should no longer be considred an "Enzo", because the FXX is so much more than an Enzo

I see the higher clearance on the front fender and along the side ground effects and think its a street legalized version of the FXX. Called it.
