Ferrari’s F430 Scuderia isn’t set to be officially unveiled in the metal until the Frankfurt Motor Show next month, but, if you happen live near Ferrari’s factory in Maranello seeing the new supercar is almost a daily occurrence.

Like the older 360 Modena Challenge Stradale before it, the new Scuderia version of the F430 has shed up to 100kg through an extensive weight saving program. Output from the naturally aspirated 4.3L V8 also jumps to 510hp at a lofty 8,500rpm and with a kerb weight of just 1,350kg the new supercar has an amazing power-to-weight ratio of 2.45kg/hp.

You can read up on more details about the car by clicking here, and a big thanks to Justin for sending in the pics.

The base F430 has curb weight 1450 kg. 1450-100=1350. Your math?
