Newly formed coachbuilder Karvajal Designs has made a big splash with its inaugural custom-designed Corvette presented at the New York Auto Show today. The company plans to offer several hand-built packages for the C6 Corvette including a range topping version equipped with a 560hp supercharged LS2 V8 churning out 529 lb-ft of torque and sporting an aggressive 82in widebody kit (almost 10in up on the stock model).

These renderings show one possible look for the car but several show cars with slightly toned down styled were unveiled at the New York event. The show cars feature side mounted cooling vents, new bumpers, and a completely revised rear-end with unique taillights and exhaust ports. Other features include 13in wide tires, a custom dual exhaust system and full leather trim.

unlikely…..it improves the originals design and gives it the edge that makes it internationally competetive as opposed to a run of the mill local car.
