Carlsson has kitted up the Mercedes-Benz S-Class with its latest CK65 tuning package, a race-proven kit that combines a host of performance modifications with high-end luxury appointments. The new kit is dubbed the ‘Blanchimont’ – named after a corner at the Spa Francorchamps race track in Belgium – and has been designed to fill the gap between the standard S-Class Maybach range.

The vehicle picks up its ‘Aigner’ tag because of the cooperation between Carlsson and luxury goods brand Etienne Aigner AG, and as such the car is available with more than 30 different combinations of leather, Alcantara, aluminum and wood trim. The production and installation of the entire interior takes over two weeks.

In addition to the premium surfaces, the interior also benefits from a high-end entertainment and business package developed together with Alpine and Focal. The lineup includes 7 and 15-inch LCD monitors, 6.1 surround sound and full wireless internet.

Under the hood sits a twin-turbo 6.0L V12 engine with a newly developed ECU mod, sports air filter, stainless-steel exhaust system and uprated intercoolers. The end result is a healthy 705hp (526kW) and an electronically limited 811lb-ft (1,100Nm) of torque. Top speed has also been limited to 320km/h, while the sprint to 100km/h takes just 3.9 seconds. Pricing starts at €390,000 (approximately $611,000).

Everything about this car, inside and out, reeks of bad taste and too much money.

Man, this exterior is just laughable. Perfect for a homeless crackhead turned lottery winner.
