Jaguar tuning specialist Arden wasn’t the first to reveal a modified version of the new XF - that title goes to California dealer Galpin and its garish two-tone model - but if this teaser is anything to go by the German tuner’s new kit for the svelte sedan is shaping up to be one of the hottest aftermarket packs we’ve seen in a long time. Set for sale this June, the new pack transforms the XF into something that looks a lot more like the original concept car thanks to an aggressively styled front bumper and aerokit.
Arden is yet to release official details for its AJ21 XF package but according to this teaser there will be a host of additions including the aforementioned front bumper, a new mesh grille, custom ‘leaping-cat’ hood ornament, LED daytime running lights, aero side mirrors and a pair of sporty side sills.
Expect to see the same specially developed 4.5L supercharged V8 engine used in Arden’s previous AJ20 XKR make its way into the engine bay of the new XF. The custom mill pushes out a healthy 480hp and mind-blowing 640Nm of torque, and features a specially made crankshaft and piston set. We’ll have to wait until June for all the official details but in the meantime check out Arden’s previous XKR pacakge in the gallery below.
Arden Jaguar AJ20 XKR

The shield shaped grill is a lot more aesthetic (in pictures) than the standard squared off design. Maybe Jaguar should uses the design on the XF-R
I’ve seen the new Jaguar in person, and it is bore-ing…
This looks much more interesting, but the headlights still look goofy…
I’m with Gus and PJE. Apparently the new Jag is fun to drive (so sayeth Top Gear, so it must be true), but it looks like a mere shadow of its former self. This version, on the other hand, nails the grille and has a much better stance.
Big improvement to the stock XF. without this front spoiler, the XF stinks like old
The front head-lights and overall design are still lackluster to save this car. Poor Jaguar.
headlights are still fugly, therefore kinda ruining the look from the front for me cuz of that extra hump in them
i wish that Jag had stayed with the concept style…the new car looks like a volvo with a different grille…
Wizard, I’ll let you in on a little secret. The XF concept was done after the final approval of the production cars design. Unfortunately instead of building buzz it created a “I waited for that!” effect.
Although the XF is fantastic to drive and is selling at a profit. Something Jaguar and its employee’s has not had/seen since the E-type.
As for saving the company? Absolutely it will, the energy and morale boost it has thus far created is only energising the employee’s to aim higher. Also with Ford gone the folks with passion for cars that exist within Jaguar will now be able to shine. Mike Cross may have the personality of a gold fish but his passion for making things work and go is truely amazing. Hopefully Keith Helfet will come back as his designs were far more original and in keeping with moving Jaguar forward, if not I’m sure there is some young buck that worked under him that will now be able to rise up within the ranks.
Fingers Crossed.
i saw the xf in person aswell…the front head lights look so wierd..and still look wierd in this arden version….
I think it looks great for what it is which is a move in a new direction to save the company.
Look back when BMW launched the current 7 series it was a new direction to and way more hideous than the XF. You could argue Chris Bangle consulted Stevie Wonder for how it should look! By the time the 5 series and new 3 series came along the direction they were heading for had been reached and alot easier on the eyes too.
Although the Z4 has completely lost the plot I would say Stevie Wonder was off that day so they called Pontiac and said we can better the Aztec in the ugly department.
So what I’m saying is give it time the new XJ will improve upon the theme for sure…. Patience people.
