Honda has used this weekend’s Busan Auto Show in South Korea to debut its facelifted flagship Legend sedan, which arrives exactly two months after the debut of its sister model, the 2009 Acura RL, back at February’s Chicago Auto Show. Like its Acura sibling, the new Honda sedan is just a mild refresh of the previous model that has been on sale in global markets since 2005.

The new Legend is essentially the U.S. market Acura RL with a new ‘Honda’ grille and a slightly revised interior. The car is also expected to be equipped with the same 3.5L V6 petrol engine as the new Accord sedan, complete with fuel-saving active cylinder management, reports AutoTelegraaf. No word if the 3.7L SOHC unit from the RL will also be available.

You can expect the usual complement of safety features, and the interior of the Legend won’t disappoint, with perforated leather seating and wood pattern panels. Honda should release final specifications closer to the car’s market launch towards the end of the year.

i don’t know about this design… it reminds me of a “future” that buick might bring us toward, not honda. not that it looks like a buick or anything: the take home point from this post is that i think that car is ugly.
