Kia has released the first preview image of its upcoming three-door hatchback model, which will make its world debut at September’s Frankfurt Motor Show. The new hatch will pick up the name Pro-cee’d. Based on the almost identical concept car displayed at last year’s Paris Show, the new production model has been developed by Kia’s design team in Europe under the direction of Chief Design Officer, Peter Schreyer.

Manufactured in Slovakia, Pro-cee’d will be the third member of the Kia cee’d family, joining the cee’d five-door and the soon to be released cee’d wagon models in the European market.

Production of the Pro-cee’d model range is scheduled to begin in November with first customer sales starting early next year.

Wow, this actually looks quite aggressive. I\’m sure it\’ll be cheap as well when it comes out.

How\’s Kia build quality/reliability these days?
