This odd looking and slightly stylish coupe is the new BC3 from Brilliance and has just gone on sale in China with a starting price of just under $15,000. Brilliance is BMW’s partner in China but the new BC3 is said to be an all-Chinese designed and manufactured vehicle, the first for the carmaker.

The car was first displayed at the Geneva Motor Show back in March, where in fact it garnered a lot of questions about availability in markets outside of China. Edmunds reports that officials have confirmed a 2008 European launch for the new BC3 and that a U.S. launch is a possibility.

The BC3 is powered by a 170hp turbocharged 1.8L four-cylinder engine and is available with either a five-speed manual or four-speed auto. The claimed acceleration time for the 0-60mph is 9.7 seconds and top speed is said to be 130mph.

All Chinese designed huh? Looks like a Hyundai Tiburon knock-off to me.
