At next month’s Paris Motorshow we’ll get our first glimpses of Suzuki’s new mini-MPV Splash concept car. Suzuki is still considering whether to build this car and will be closely monitoring comments the concept receives during the Parisian event. It will join a raft of new vehicles from the Japanese automaker including the Swift, Grand Vitara, and SX4.

Based on the same platform used in the popular Swift car, the Splash will be powered by a new 1.2-litre 16v petrol engine and should be able to seat up to five adults. Also on display will be a production version of the Swift Sport, a performance variant of the regular Swift. The new car gets the usual accessories including racing bucket seats, aluminium pedals and a sporty bodykit. Power comes from a high-revving 125 hp 1.6-litre four.
