Lexus may still be establishing itself in the Japanese domestic market but that hasn’t stopped it from preparing two concept vehicles and six production models for the nation’s premier auto show. Set to grace the stands at the upcoming Tokyo event will be the all-new LF-Xh performance SUV concept as well as the stunning LF-A supercar concept.

lexus_lf_xh_02.jpgThe new LF-Xh is described as a SUV based on the Lexus design philosophy of L-finesse and is powered by an advanced hybrid system. The set-up features a V6 petrol engine mated to a high-output electric motor as well as an AWD system. The concept measures in at 4.8m in length and 1.6m in height, making it a good candidate for a preview of the next-generation Lexus RX soft-roader.

Lexus’ other concept car will be the previous LF-A concept, a 5.0L V10 powered super-coupe with a body constructed from light weight carbon-fiber.

The fleet of production models will include the LS600hL hybrid saloon, new IS-F and the older GS450h and LS460.
