The car is called the Wimille and the idea behind the project was to create a modern design, which retains classic Bugatti styling but maintains its own unique look. Some of the design’s most striking features include a glass roof that trails all the way back to the rear window, protecting the precious W16.4 engine bay. As a saloon, the Wimille also has to remain practical. That’s why the design features an elongated bonnet to accommodate a generous cargo hold.
The idea of a Veyron based sedan is nothing new. Rumors of the car first surfaced soon after the Veyron was released. Bugatti has spent hundreds of millions of dollars developing the Veyron’s world beating powertrain and officials want to recoup some of that investment by launching more variants. Bugatti is yet to confirm the development of a second model but recent reports claim the next car will in fact be a saloon based on the Veyron and could be priced above the €1 million supercar.

oh dear god...that is horrific....you would think that with a relatively clean slate to start with the design of such a car would be straight forward. Heck even my own interpretaionso f the Bugatti Super Sedan far outsrip these. All that is needed to is to matte a detuned version of the Veyron drivetrain and mechanics, a softening of the suspension setup and there you have it !!
start again please !!

Why don't you share one of your own Bugatti Sedan interpretations with the audience so that we can appreciate it? Just upload a picture to one of the countless upload sites and leave us the link.

That thing doesn't deserve to be in the same room as a Veyron let alone the same picture.

jose; although yappie is a little extreme in his words, he's absolutely right. this thing is a shooting brake, and even dodge can make a better shooting brake than that.
I'd rather drive an SRT8 magnum than that monstrosity.
if theyre going to try to make a super coach, then maybe they should consider a more conventional front engine AWD design. and dont try to make it look like the veyron. you cant make a boot look like a slipper, and you cant make a barge look like a canoe.

José - I would rather keep my designs to myself thankyou. I was stating a fact that this "design concept" is horrific and any one of us with a minute amount of design flair could interpret a more suitable design keeping the values of Bugatti in check along with making the car look like its worth $1mil.
Sort of like the Rolls Royce Phantom. Big Bloody Car, but looks like its worth its price tag. This car above just looks like a ....i dont know i cant even describe it....there is a mish mash of almost 5/6 different styling cues in its body shape that are far too convaluted and disjointed to make it worthy of wearing the Bugatti badge.....this should be the pinnacle of automotive excellence bar none.............But it falls well short of the mark.
